“Gly”: I really enjoyed exploring that mine especially when we reached the bottom with all the timbering. Boy oh boy was I a chunk back then! Feels good to have lost some of that weight a year later. The mine we explored further to the west of this one has now been destroyed by open pit and heap leaching operations. Good thing we documented it when we did because it’s all gone.

I have seen that many times. You see some artifacts or buildings and the next time you come back and there is nothing. Stuff is disappearing at an alarming rate.

The wheel and axle you found appear to be from a railroad maintenance of way car. Looks like a Fairmont. The axle had the joint in the center that acted as a differential. Maybe it was a complete car modified for the purpose. Would have been interesting to know the gauge.

I love both you guys. I feel that Gly's channel is a bit personality oriented lately, and the mine exploring hasn't been the greatest. He got ropes a few episodes ago and has had great opportunities to use them since but didn't use them and I'm a little disappointed. I hope it's not his health. His channel grew quickly through good deep exploration coupled with good personality. Now it seems it's more simple explores coupled with Mr M and his cup of tea. The growth will slow down if he doesn't keep with his deep mine exploring in my opinion. I'm glad I have you to watch Frank, coz I'm worried that Gly's best and deepest explores have already past. Sorry Gly, didn't want to say it on your channel. Mr M is great (seems like a lovely Chap), but he doesn't compensate for the lack of deep exploration and adventure of expansive mines. Cheers. Love you both. Keep at it Gly, or Frank will leave U behind brother. FYI guys, my favourite 2 explorations are the one where you have to go back up and you're worried about the water heading out a different way Frank (can't remember the episode number Frank but pretty sure you found 2 old lamps or something)....and episode 72 for you GLY. Both of them were amazing. I wish you both the best of success moving forward.

Sometimes I wonder why I bother with KZbin. I enjoy exploring mines but the filming and editing take up a lot of time. There are many channels that get a lot more traffic. People vote with their feet.
