Damn, couldnt you just let people that want merch, or tickets to live shows, or fandom feed, go to your website? I fell for your show hard, really felt its unique quality, and NEEDED it! But then, the flow was totally interrupted with all the self promotion, credits beginning and ending each episode, meant back to back ads with the show squeezed between. Was driving, traveling, and had to stop listening. It was too much promotion, and I know I felt kinda bad for sharing with people who have good taste in media. I loved listening to go to sleep.. Id wake up in the night, and be drawn right back into Night Vale in my mind, and contentedly sleep with it playing. That became impossible, a real bummer. I can understand being proud, and dont need the ads because the show is unique enough to have people SEEK the accoutrements... 20:24

As is the case with most podcasts, fiction or not, there's been housekeeping & merch promotion at the beginning and end of each episode from the very start of the show's run. I really don't know why you believe listening to the show has become so difficult.

i can see where ads might be annoying, but its the only way podcasts can really stay afloat other then sponsers, If u hate the ads but love the show and have the money to spare, i think patreon has ad free episodes? not 100% sure tho :)
