Buc-ee’s is the place you’re talking about in Texas. It’s not just the biggest service station, it’s also the best you will go to. It is very clean and has all the snacks and food you want, as well as about 200 gas pumps. It’s ideal for Texan’s trucks and 4x4s As Texans and Americans always say “Everything is bigger is Texas”

I stopped at that services a couple of years ago on my way to Belgium in my Morris Minor. Think we parked in that same space and sat at that same (outro) bench. My son loved watching the trains go past! Ah the good old days pre-covid!

It's crazy to think that the largest gas station (petrol station) in the UK, would just be considered an ordinary everyday Interstate Oasis here in the US. US Oasis gas stations have just as many pumps usually and they have things like McDonald's, Starbucks and pizza restaurants in them. But still a nice video and quite informative. I learned something new today about the UK. 🙂

Haha I’m a truck driver and the second you said you was staying in cobham I thought oh at around 10pm your going to get a shock when they start using the car park as truck overflow. Now a bit of a rant, I’m Europe services are free, clean and available every 20-60km or at the very least a toilet. Here in the uk a truck driver will pay £35 for a parking space and if his lucky a meal voucher that’s only useable in said fast food restaurants, You will usually be parked the other side of the site and often next to lots of other trucks still working, Oh and no security of note so diesel and loads are stolen all the time. Never had these problems with the smaller route stops and private parking areas that have all been shut down by the massive chains. It’s no wonder we are all fat, tired and angry all the time

Chances are the Pizza Express, and likely the Nando's there, are closed during the National Lockdown period as has been the case over the last year or so with facilities being closed or on reduced hours. Very poor to be restricting the amenities available to truckers etc. Thank you.
