This was an act of stupidity, but most of the incidents Ferraris have been blamed for have been the fault of overly aggressive LMP1 drives not giving the GT drivers room.

@james0807 it's a Ferrari factory team! Sorry to kill it for you but it's budget comes from Ferrari and its run by AF corsa (who funded 7 cars at Le Mans this year) it's a bit like the Porsche GTE Pro! Backed fully by Porsche but run by manthey! I was there but didn't see this, had the unfortunate view of simonsons aftermath :/

When the driver pulled away and he had the hose attached he stopped the vehicle and turned off the engine. so that he could prevent starting a fire if the line broke. when they released him his crew waved him on but by the time he got his engine turned on and started to accelerate the car was already cutting in front of him.

Looks like the spotter was very confused, the numberplate guy even signaled to the crew that they had a car coming in and the spotter didn't even acknowledge it.

The lollipop man should just be kicked off the team. He let the car go before the fuel hose is out if the car and let the car go when there is obviously a prototype coming their way. It's not the driver's fault silence he can't see what behind him so he really relies on the guy.

You know this has got nothing to do with ferrari right? there is no Ferrari factory entry in the Le Mans 24 Hours, AF Corse is a private entrant that uses Ferrari cars. Do some research before making stupid claims that get nobody anywhere. And even if it it were a factory Ferrari team, there is only 1 person who makes a mistake here, and that's the guy who tells the driver to go!!!
