I purchased the green version; it’s very pretty & I wore it several times. Someone liked it so much that he offered me more than the price I paid for so I sold it.

I bought mine in August 2024 and it had to be sent into the factory for the replacement of the movement because the first batch has issues with the BigDate… 3 weeks later it’s back and works fine. Love it.

I bought this watch one year ago, the grey in the bracelet. I love it, setting the date is very satisfying. Amazing value, I am very happy with the purchase.

Fantastic watch, I just tried the green and black dial yesterday, both were great. I actually love the strap more than the bracelet, but it is a solid watch overall.

I've bought two in the last few months. Two Ocean Star, one a GMT the other a Ocean Star 600. 44 and 43.5 mm. I like big watches. Excellent pieces, very accurate.

Wow. The pvd version is gorgeous!!! Mido always delivers a big bang for your buck. Highly underated as a brand!!!

Owned one of thes rfor a bit. The grey dial with orange strap. I miss it. Definitely need to repurchase one, but deep down i wanted the boue on rubber.

It does. What's your take on the brand letters? I think this watch would have look even better with less chunky lettering.

The color sold me. Not many good affordable dark-green dial watches out there. Grass green sure, but not dark-green. Plus I got it on sale, so it was $400 less than the retail price. When I bought it I was between the Mido and a green dial Tissot (Chemin Des Tourelles). But I find the Mido's looks and darker green more striking.

I love my green dial. Mido recently released the 35 mm versions which should be interesting.

It's a beautiful watch. I think they could have went less chunky with the brand name, but I still like it a lot. Not many good dark-green dial watches out there. Grass green sure, but not dark-green. 5:39 You think push pins are a pain compared to screws? The only watches I have had to take to the jeweler to have them resized are either watches with screws that spin in place or vintage watches with super small screws.

If I could justify (yet) another watch the stainless version would be so tempting. Unfortunately I have this style covered but admittedly not in the same watch. I've yet to see one in the flesh but when I do I have been known to seriously consider a purchase. Maybe in the future if I slim down my collection I might just take a second look. MIDO is indeed very underrated. Even though current designs are hit and miss in my opinion, their technology and quality are spot on. I actually believe they would benefit from going independent again!

I have one in brown dial on brown rubber strap. It's very comfortable and really wears well. I'm getting older and my eyesight isn't what it used to be so the big dial is a plus. This is my one and only Mido watch but I really like it.

got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on MAMACOO 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

tbh with the kinda meh fit of the bracelet , and after looking into the issue being common, i retuned it ( bought it from Teddy) apparently it’s not uncommon. Though they would have fixed it under warranty

Show, don't tell ! I want to see the quick release in action not just "trust me it works like charm". I would like also see the date change. (you don't have to wait till midnight, just set the time on watch) That was constructive criticism part, but generally I like your videos, always enjoy them :) Already looking forward to the next one.

The date change is shown multiple times at 3:25. Most enthusiasts already know how the quick release pins work.

@@denniskeith8725 date setting via crown is shown, not the date change triggered by time passing midnight. There is a difference - most enthusiast would know what I mean.

There are a couple things that bother me the crown guards could’ve used a better design and the powermatic 80 is probably a bit underwhelming

It's a great watch but there's massive problems with the movement. So many stories about the date wheel breaking or going wrong or even stopping working altogether. I really wanted the rose gold version but the reliability killed the deal for me.

This watch is on my buy list for 2025. 1500 CAD is alot of momey, but it is tremendous value for money.

Yes, Patek copied Mido. Patek had the muscle to become famous, that's all. That confuses people.

@kombo731 dude, be real with yourself. No, they didn't invent orange bands, but miso 1:1 copying the dial/rubber band colour combination from the very similar looking Aquanaut definitely isn't a coincidence.

It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. MAMACOO watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?
