Thank you. Yes that rain was intense. I would have expected more visible lightning but I think it was quite high in the clouds.

Thank you AstroGuy. I didn't chase yesterday as had pre-arranged plans. They were quite fast moving though, so even if I had chased I think they would have been hard to catch. I am hoping for more chances to chase in the next few weeks 🤞

It's been a poor year for Thunderstorms in the West Midlands so far, we had one last night around 19:30 which died out pretty quickly but nothing else, I used to chase storms myself once, but the cost of fuel today prohibits it with my budget, so I'm relying on you for some action!😃

😁 Happy to oblige. The increased cost of fuel certainly does make it a more expensive hobby. So far it has been a poor year for storms in the Midlands, but plenty of time left yet for things to improve 👍
