Had to come back and say thanks. This worked perfectly. Should I have concerns about over working the starter?

In my opinion no. But anytime you put something through a higher load than designed there's always a chance... I know people that have been running this setup for years with no problems. It's only seeing 24v for a couple seconds... pick you up a spare starter off ebay for a backup to ease your mind..👍🏽

I got a busa dragbike that eats starter components for lunch. I think i need to look into 24v starter system

Hi there Guys, So I just did the 24V "upgrade" using the Anti GRavity 801 and 401, and everything works very well, however it seems like I burn the starter motor real quick, how do you guys get around this challenge.

I'm not sure. Don't usually have a problem with our bikes. Could it have been going bad already. Or pending bike your starter may can't hold 24v on a stock starter

I had a 24v system on my 2000 with all kinds of relays on it. It burned out within a few months. Can you post a video of you starting it before and after a 30-45 minute ride?
@gregpowell8705 жыл бұрын
It had all the relays because it wasn't installed this way... with this Install it's only 24 volts to the starter when you press the button... The way you had it it was a 24 volt all the time and they were using the relays to try and bring down the voltage for the rest of the electrical system.. that way will cause fires in a street bike... it was a customer's bike so can't post that video but when the bike is running the meter read 12v.. hope this helps
