Yea about $500 for the rent but also the utilities are going to be a little high with a/c and those big rooms to keep cool. I lived in a townhouse in Angeles City in the 70s without a/c and I was carrying around a fan just to keep cool the high humidity is terrible. Ned showed how hot it was in there already......always keep lots of cold beer. cheers :)

Funny thing about the hand gestures, when I was there some Filipina’s laughed at me about it, I guess they don’t do it much. I laughed at them when they pointed with their lips and answered questions with their eyebrows though 😂😂😂

I wish if you filmed each bedroom (wide shot, the whole thing) before entering them. For instance, the office-room didn't show much, just the desk and the AC, couldn't get a feel of how big/small it is. Thanks for the otherwise good video.

I’d be running every A/C unit 24/7 if I lived there and it wold probably cost more then the rent. The humidity there is unbearable most of the time so I would only rent a place with a pool.

FYI.. THE PHILIPPINES IS HOTTER THAN THE BACK SIDE OF MY BALL SACK ..(YOU WILL NEED A\C IF YOU WANT TO BE COMFORTABLE) My 1 water heater / shower, and 1A/C window unit (in the master bed room) and lights ran an average of 279.00 USD per month for my 3 bed room single level in the heat of the Philippines.

It's very rare that you get the published exchange rate in the Philippines. Money exchange is a business in the Philippines. If you give the published rate you can't make a profit. Most people living in the Philippines round out the US to Philippine Peso exchange rate to $1 to 50 peso because it is easier to calculate in your head.

Nice apartment, I knew someone here all ready. I paid 500 for nilpa hut 2000 more to tear it down and build a small house. On the sea of Samar. My bills run about 25$ a month. (US). I keep a hotel room in town also. I live good. Simple but good. On 1000$ a month.
