I second Shea's recommendation for the alarm clock. I have the wake up alarm clock and it has CHANGED my life! It's sooooooooo gentle but still persistent enough to wake you up. I used to be a giant snoozer, but I find I don't snooze as much with this clock b/c it kind of "wakes" you for 10 mins. You can adjust how long you want to wake up. It's really, really great. Highly recommend.

I'm curious how effective it would be for heavy sleepers. I'm afraid I would ignore it. The window is already in my face (so a bright space from 6am), and I'm not always facing outwards. I do love this concept!

Word to the wise!! I’m on my second avocado knife. I’m not sure what happened, but after the zillionth time of putting it in the dishwasher, pointy knife side down as always, it came out with the knife bent over and unusable. Somehow it got too warm. I loved it, though, so I ended up buying another and I’m just very careful to put it in the top rack only.

Apple cider vinegar and Dawn work if you don't add too much Dawn. All you need is an inch of ACV in a coffee mug and 1 drop of Dawn. Froth with a fork and it works like magic.

If you have house plants that are in vessels or pottery that collect standing water in the bottom after watering you will get fruit flies! My family owns a garden center and I work with plants daily. If I see any fruit flies in our home, I check each plant and sure enough there is one of my beautiful plant pots that I have stuck a plant in with an inch of stale water at the bottom. I dump out the water and no more fruit flies! 🪴
