I also had the goal for this year not to read too many horror and thriller books. I keep buying books in other genres and then never reading them! I love Scythe! I had no idea that Seanan McGuire and Mira Grant were the same person! 😱 I also plan on doing a 25 books for 2025 video on my channel.

I so need to read the Mina series. I really hope you like Magic Lessons! I tried to read it a couples years ago for a book club, but I hadn’t read any of the other books which I think didn’t help me. Oh my gosh! The podcast for Welcome to Nightvale is so good! I read that book a while back, but I listened to the podcast before I read it. I feel like maybe listen to part of the first episode, just so you get Cecil’s tone of voice.

so excited you got Summer, Fireworks & My Corpse!! that story is really good. I haven't yet read Black Fairy Tale which comes with it (i have them as separate books), but hope it's good :) as for myself; i'm late to the party but desperate to read Such Lovely Skin, A Magical Girl Retires, Rouge & Chlorine next year! also highly anticipating Witchcraft For Wayward Girls in january ^_^ hope everything on your list is at least decent!!

What a good assortment! If you like the book Welcome to Nightvale, you should definitely check out the podcast; it’s like NPR in the Twilight Zone! Also, Wayward Children is such an interesting series, and the second book, Down Among the Sticks and Bones is probably my favorite!

The Thursday Murder Club series is a series that i would recommend to absolutely everyone. There are 4 books currently out with 1 I believe will be released sometime in 2025. It has short chapters and just a good time.

every year i read fellowship of the ring around bilbo and frodo’s bday in september, it’s my favorite fall reading tradition ever!! highly recommend getting the vibes down as a mood reader!!

also my sister HATED done and dusted and dnf’d it after like 30 pages, and she loves both popular and “trashy” romances! she said it was poorly written and not slow burn at all like the cover claims! just curious to see your opinion on it because she tells me she regrets buying it so often 😅

A ton of great stuff here that I can't wait to hear what you thought of them! \\ I really need to get to the Shady Hollow books! I need to get to the Reformatory too! Welcome to Nightvale is a very fun book, it's not super serious like the X-files but it is very wacky and it's surprisingly relaxed. So like think weird X-Files episodes like "Jose chung's from outer space" for the Nightvale vibe. Great video!

Midnight is the darkest hour just had a super abrupt unsatisfactory ending, and her book that's coming out in March 2025 titled This Book Will Bury Me is just a not cool thing to do I would go read the one star reviews of her book coming out in march. I will not be supporting this author going forward.
