First, I have to say that I got more enjoyment out of reading the comments than watching the video. Laughed my head off. Second, I'm originally from Maryland. Utz brand potato chips produced "crab" flavored chips. They use that wonderfully delicious Old Bay seasoning to season the chips. Absolutely divine! Of course, I also love salt & vinegar chips. ;) I can't speak to how the crab flavored Pringles taste, but if it's anything like the Utz brand crab chips, BRING IT ON!!!!!!

Sharon, I think we need to talk about all the cement gifts you have been making. It's just.. no one needs 200 cement candle holders Sharon. The neighbours said they weren't inviting us back for Christmas lunch this year if you are just going to make them more candle holders. 2 years ago one of the ones you made inside a bag tipped over and left their son Timmy in the hospital for 3 days. It has to stop Sharon. If it doesn't, I am leaving with the kids. Wait, Sharon.. Where are the kids?!? Dammit Sharon! You made them into cement statues for the lawn! You need help Sharon.

Some of these things are cool however, none of it was made with concrete. Concrete has aggregate in it(stone). This was all made with Portland cement. The problem is that you cannot simply mix Portland with water alone,eventually it will crumble. You have to add things to it. However,you could probably use thinset which is for tile. One more thing,twords the end she made a small fire pit,which by the way is in fact a neat idea but the glass stones used are an issue. If you do decide to do that project you HAVE to use fire resistant glass that's used for that kind of thing. If you use dollar store glass stones they're going to crack and explode so theres that little issue . I'm a mason and I do alot of small projects like this on the side. Always be very aware of the materials your using for any of this stuff and yes,it would all look better painted lol

Rockite would be a perfect "just add water" product for these crafts. It is a very strong anchoring compound that can be made thin enough to pour. Too much water in cement and it has no strength.

You show up at a friends house and everything in the entire place is grey and matt coloured. You sit down on the couch and it’s solid concrete. He has a bouquet of grey concrete flowers sitting on his grey concrete table which sits atop his grey concrete wooden floors. The food he sets at the table looks appetising but when you try and eat it you realise it is all just concrete moulds of food. The green leafy salad monotone and disturbing. You go to the bathroom and pull the concrete light cord and sit on his concrete toilet. You flush the concrete handle and then you see it, it isn’t water in the toilet. It’s liquid concrete. You open the unbelievably heavy door (most likely made of concrete), and run down the concrete floors towards the concrete front door and there he stands. Your best friend, or what is left of him. More concrete than man now. His skin a dull grey colour. His eyes leak with Matt grey liquid and you know for certain, The person you once knew is gone. What remains is a concrete abomination of a person. You turn to run out the door and once it opens a sea of wet concrete fills the entire room. You are entirely submerged in concrete and feel it begin to intrude into your lungs. Not long now. Until it’s all over.

papa smurf - OH MY GOD. I went to a craft show a few years ago and bought these two pieces from some local artist. Leaves with some gremlin peeking out. FIFTEEN people at Thanksgiving were standing gaping at them and asked when I became interested in VAGINA ART. Eek!!! I still hang those groovy vag-jay-jays right in there, too. Right over the dining table!!lol!

None of these will take just 5 minutes to do, cement takes hours to cure, and alot of these require painting or some kind of extra work.
@Polyurie
@Polyurie 5 жыл бұрын
If you do not count the curing time it probably comes down to less than 5 minutes including spraying some paint on it. If you like to decorate your house with self made objects this might just be worth the (minimal) effort. But If you actually need a flower pot in 5 minutes from now, this is the wrong video to watch.

Someone took a little extra sadistic joy in the way that fox was coated. I mean really, did it need to be dunked slowly, with the zoom in on the face? If it's just an object being coated with plaster or cement, they could have just randomly poured it over, or submerged it sideways to fit in the bowl better.

"Very creative" - 25 candle holders, and random junk dipped in cement, some of which then painted terribly. We're "haters" not because we're insecure, but because these crafts are lazy, fragile without reinforcement, are extremely ugly, and will damage any nice surface you put them on inside. Instead, let's pray for a 5 minutes craft video that isn't an insult to arts and crafts.

Well I just learned a great new way to make pots for my plants. Instead of paying the nursery $10-$50 for terracotta pots, I'll make my own from cement. Also, it's worth noting that they're likely using wax to make separating the molds possible, otherwise the bowls would almost definitely get stuck in the cement or plaster.
