It looks like in this game everything that’s on screen has a chance to hit you, like one point anji did shitsu right into a grab and the bird still hit during mid grab animation, if only that worked in strive for example if you grab with goldlewis and his beam super is active with lvl 3 security the beam should still deal damage if you grab the enemy

If you look carefully first is an air grab followed by a grabbed burst. It technically doesn't end the combo, otherwise I do not think you can combo 2 airgrabs into a single combo
