I don't even know where to begin!? This is hands down THE BEST Dollar Tree gift basket tutorial on KZbin! I love love love it! You put so much thought into ALL of these gifts. I've seen some of these things at the DT, but never would've thought about pairing them together, very clever. You also opened my eyes and made me realize that I don't need to spend a lot to make it look so "high end". Who knew that just a few items coming together so beautifully would make such a nice presentation? I'd personally love and appreciate any one of these gifts! Where do you live? Yes, it's true! I have an awesome DT! It is very large and has amazing stock and is very well maintained by the manager Katrina and her staff. But I do know what you mean. The DT near my son's school looks nothing like the one near my house. But Karla has a good suggestion. Maybe there is larger one in your area. If not, Walmart, Target, Big Lots, Dollar General and other stores also have good, inexpensive merchandise.

You really need a video to make small gift sets?. Dollar Tree & other dollar shops are the key..just DON'T buy UNBRANDED bath/Scented items & food since the quality usually sucks & for a few bucks more you can get QUALITY brands. P.S. ALWAYS CHECK EXP DATES ON ALL FOOD items, since Dollar Tree is a bit infamous for selling foods past expiration dates. They now sell TONS of brand-name foods just don't forget the date checks. DON'T cut "hang holes" off foods as suggested because alot of times you'll cut part of the writing off the back of packages & this is just TACKY in mY opinion.🎄 ALSO: ALWAYS get your paper shread/tissue from Dollar Tree as they sell alot & STOCKPILE IT spring & winter seasons since they get so many beautiful + hard to find color combos PLUS bags are BIGGER near holidays..I have every color of the rainbow & even iridessent ( gorgeous)! I LOVE & swear by this stuff for all custom gift sets I make 🎊🎉 😁. PEACE & have fun making/giving gift sets as you'll get alot of joy doing it. (sometimes I make small sets for the "I thought of you" gift for no real reason 😊 )

Hi Everyone! Below is the explanation for the "COPPA restricted" portion of the video that I just posted to the description box on the video. Hope it helps clarify the situation. **COPPA** - Since there have been so many questions on the "COPPA restricted" portion of this video, I thought it might be helpful to add an explanation here. COPPA is the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. It has been in effect since April 2000 but compliance with the Act really came into the spotlight in September, 2019 when KZbin was fined $170 million by the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). In addition to the fine, KZbin was also required to better identify and control content on the platform aimed at children. By November, 2019 KZbin began to roll out the new requirements and guidelines for creators and what they needed to do to comply with COPPA as well as how and whether or not they should mark their video as "made for children". However, both the FTC and KZbin guidelines for creators were somewhat vague. Couple that with reports of $42,000 fines per video for creators found in violation, and you can understand the panic and speculation that resulted in the creator community. Fortunately, the FTC has further clarified the guidelines and on December 17, 2019, KZbin published a new video for creators which summarized the FTC clarifications and also answered many questions in the creator community. However, at the time this video was published on December 5, 2019, KZbin's standing Children's Content Guidelines stated (among other things) that children's content (and therefore, COPPA restricted), would be, " If it includes characters, celebrities, or toys that appeal to children" . However, in light of the further clarifications, considerations including "INTENDED audience" as well as "mixed audience" would have made it perfectly fine to show the toys and characters. But again, at the time this video was published, this was not at all clear.

Looooved this!! When you did the shrink wrap, I definitely went “😵😍😍!!” It looked so good!! Hoping they have it at my Dollar Tree to add to the gift basket I already made for my brother-in-law and his wife, or I’ll be heartbroken. Idea for you: popcorn 🍿 theme. I bought them a collapsible, silicone microwave popcorn bowl, popcorn kernels, and three seasonings, all from Walmart, and put them in a plastic Christmas crate from Dollar Tree (which, alas, I DIDN’T color coordinate-now I know better). It was all probably $10-$12. Wonderful ideas here! Thanks for sharing!

This video was invaluable. This should be a primer for anyone who wants to start a gift basket business. I wanted to this about 20 years ago, but of course there was very little information out there. I am a new subbie, and I was wondering if this year if you could show us how to do things like tea (and coffee) baskets and journal and paper/ pen sets? I am a tea drinker and I want to do tea baskets. I love that you do gender neutral baskets as well gender specific baskets. I wished I had this video a year ago for gifts at my family reunion.
