The blonde girl corpse in Irons' desk in the og RE2, or in the table in Irons' taxidermy room in the remake, was in her early 20s, her skin was "white all over" and her size match with the "female pig" description. It was never meant to be a pig. It is heavily implied that it was that girl, Katherine Warren, the poor mayor's daughter. You can actually hear her screaming in a little ingame cutscene in the og RE2 when you pass by the blocked entrance (due to the crashed helicopter) to Iron's office before blowing it up, with Claire looking impressed, implying that's the moment when Irons kills her. He was about to taxiderm her. That's where the true evil and psychopathy in Irons is confirmed, at least in the og RE2, when there weren't orphan children involved yet. And if it wasn't Katherine, it may have been another poor white young woman, as implied in 10:07. Irons was a real monster, worse than all of the BOWs combined IMO. That's why I hate his death in the remake, it was so underwhelming. In the og RE2, being ripped apart from the inside was a satisfying and deserved way to go for a character like him.

Irons is a perfect villain in my opinion. He is cruel and evil to the point almost everyone hates him meaning he is perfect at his job, he is such a good villain because he makes everyone hate him. But its a good hate, like, i love his character, not what he does but the fact he does it, he is evil, he doesn't just take bribes which endangered others, he actively committed several crimes and even when the virus outbreak began, continued to hunt officers and the mayor's daughter, he never was a good guy and was corrupt through, but that makes him so good at being the "bad guy" of the rpd.

#26 In the OG RE2 Irons had a 9mm Hi Power and in the Remake he has a S&W 329PD which actually didn't exist in the 90s. I collect arms from RE. I wanted a 44 Magnum and I got a S&W 329PD because it was used by Irons. I love it.

I actually really like Irons as a villain. I feel Resident Evil has a issue with making the villains to anti-hero-ish characters and makes the fans love them, despite bad things they did (like Wesker). Irons is always been evil and I’m sad to learn they toned him down in the west. I think he being a human and making Lickers, Mr. X, Tyrant, and Nemesis look more compassionate to humans, as Irons has hunted, r@p€d, murdered, played with (even s€xu@ll¥), militated, and tried to taxidermy humans, makes him one of the worst monsters ever. I definitely get why you dislike him, but I actually think he’s very scary and I dislike how the remake made him into basically an asshole only (and many other things, including not hinting at how Sherry was infected to people who didn’t play the original). I actually have my own canon where Irons wasn’t actually into hunting animals nor humans, but was wanting to taxidermy his niece…and his niece being Kathrine Warren. I know that’s messed up, but I think it’d make sense with Warren letting Irons be in charge of his daughter, because we know that man knows everything too. I’m glad you made this video, especially because I really liked learning things I didn’t know about one of my favorite villains. I definitely hope your ok as well, as I know stuff like this can take a toll on people and I hope KZbin doesn’t nuke the video.

Honestly Resident Evil I feel like doesn't have a lot of human antagonist who aren't infected by the virus. Which makes them scary honestly, cause they're just bad people who are fine with people dying because of the virus. Edit: The pig he mentions in the file is more likely the mayor's daughter he's talking about. Since it also says the age is 22 years old. It honestly makes him a very disgusting and scariest normal characters in the series.

For those a little confused about the "the guiding the players" in the first version of RE2 which was dubbed RE1.5 Cheif Irons is located in his office laying down, if you've played the Remake of RE2 Marvin says "Don't hesitate to shoot, don't make the same mistake i did" (Or something close to that) when he hands Leon his knife, well in RE1.5 that's actually Cheif Irons line.

I like both the original and RE2R versions of Irons. The OG is clearly psychotic and has a theatrical flair, almost Sideshow Bob-like. In RE2R, he's a more straightforward sociopath. By the way, I can't find any info on his voice actor in RE2R. Presumably, he worked on mocap with Stephanie (Claire) and Eliza (Sherry), so he must have a corporeal form of some sort??

There was a file, I do not know if RE2 or RE3, that was sent via fax of RPD station sent to Chris, which contains a reply message from a Federal Police about cases link to Chief Iron, I think it was a follow up from a report of Chris about how his investigation to Umbrella was not approved and just had a doubt about Irons. Darn I forgot what version it was. Edit: it was on RE2, file name: Letter to Chris It also contain the rape case of Irons when he was college, but aquitted due to lack of evidence.

Well I learnt some things about Chief Irons I didn't know but some things I already did, but I've got a question for you because I simply couldn't find info on this.... Somewhere in the OG version of RE2 there's a file that eludes to an Umbrella Secret facility in Africa but I honestly don't know if that fact was removed in future versions but that fact has forever been stuck in my mind and wondered if you would know anything more on it, I do remember people having a bit of a fit about RE5 being set in Africa but I never understood there pants dance when it was already established that would be the next location that would be touched in a future game, because as far as I know it wasn't mentioned again in RE3 and RE4 , I was even accused of lying about it, but I know I'm not because that fact has stuck in my mind like a splinter in my mind's eye, I'm mighty curious if you would know any more info on it, then I can finally put this Resi fact to rest, great video you've put together too, I always love lore videos on resident evil, anyway thanks again for your work and catch ya on the next one 😎
