This list, 25 facts that will scar you for the rest of your life, is not for the faint of heart! There are shocking facts in this world that honestly, we rather not know. Unfortunately for this writer, I had to do some research to make this list...so now I know.
And I want to share my wonderful experience with you...the reader. Don't worry, I'm being a bit sarcastic, though I will say the facts found on this list WILL scar you for life. This does not mean that these shocking facts are necessarily nasty or bad (though some are), rather these facts are so...outrageous that you'll remember them even when you don't want to.
Some you can say are even positively scarring...(is there such a thing?) So without further delay, I give you 25 facts that will scar you for the rest of your life. You're welcome.

The normal temperature of a chicken is 105°. That's high enough to cook a humans brain.

Minimum temp to denature protein (aka cook) is usually 130°... the temp decreases as the pH decreases though, so you can cook meat cooler than that in an acidic environment. Still, 105° is really not far off from cooking temperature!

Dottiej77 J I had a temp of 105° point something and nothing happened to me. I think in general it's agreed that temperatures 105° and up are hitting a danger zone. But I think there can be those that have had high temperatures and had no ill effects afterwards too. Just depends on age, general health before sickness, immune system, and so many other factors. You aren't wrong, you just didn't include the people that have had high temperatures and survived with no problems during or after it.

I work in a dinning hall for virginia tech as a chef, when they bring you in for orientation training they spend a good deal of time (obviously) on food safety. Cell phones are 100% banned in the production area, not because they are distracting but because of the amount and variety of fungi, bacteria and viruses they can potentially spread. Cell phones in the kitchen and production areas can get you written up or fired.

When I was in vet school, we were tasked with swabbing ANY surface and growing a culture in a dish. Most people thought they would get a good sample from the usual suspects - bathroom, door knobs, floor. The cultures that grew the most and were the most diverse? Cell phones, and the bottom of women’s purses.
