We can’t run from death, but there are ways of dying no one wants to experience (no matter how short that experience might be). These are 25 most horrible ways to die.
It would be nice if we could all avoid dying. But, that’s not going to happen. Our meeting with the grim reaper is all but assured. However, not all meetings are the same. Some meetings are a bit more painful and horrifying. We bet that if you had a choice in how you would die, you would stay away from any of the choices on this list. Choices like being skinned. The levels of pain associated with this option makes me slightly sick. Then there’s being stoned to death. It was an old practice but it’s still used in some parts of the world. Being shot into a vital spot such as heart and especially head doesn't sound bad at all. I have heard people who have been shot say being shot is not very painful. Recovery after is painful. But if you don't survive there's no recovery.

Bullet to the heart is fast but not instant like many say. You don't die instantly from blood not moving. But from what I have heard being shot is not very painful at first anyway because its so fast. And if it hits a vital spot you'll be dead before you feel much.

Believe it or not its relatively common here in UK for ppl drunk on the way home to die like that. They are often found naked or half naked. At a certain stage you actually feel very hot and disorientated too so they take off their clothes. One girl died on her doorstep coz she forgot her key and dad was asleep. Found her dead from cold in the morning. Alcohol and cold. Bad combination.

It's worse than you think when it comes to lava. What is most of your body composed of? Water. What happens to water when it's heated to a sufficient degree? It vaporizes into steam. Now imagine that happening over every inch of your body simultaneously. It'd be like microwaving a potato for too long, your body would literally explode from the pressure of the steam alone. The only consolation is this would happen in a matter of seconds, so you might not feel much pain.

#17 Actually drowning doesn't hurt that much. When I was very small (5 or 6) I fell into a swimming pool. What I remember was the sheer terror of not being able to keep my head above the water, sinking down and holding my breath as long as I could. Finally my breathing reflex kicked in forcing me to inhale. The water felt very strange going into my lungs but that was the last sensation I had before waking up on the pool deck with an adult resuscitating me. My heart never stopped beating so I wasn't quite dead and I was rescued right away. My sister actually witnessed this, and to this day she is utterly terrified of the water. Oddly though, I'm not. Now waking up after was *VERY* painful. But if I had died I would not have gone through that part. My parents signed me up with swimming lessons later that summer. But even for my first lesson I was never scared of getting in the water. I guess I just trusted the adults to keep me safe.
