We need to shout-out Erica Sinclair. At the end, it's Erica sitting next to Lucas in the hospital room. She doesn't have to say anything, she knows Lucas is hurting and needs support, even if that means sitting quietly while he reads to Max. Erica is the typical annoying little sister but when the chips are down, she has Lucas' back. I love her.

Up until the moment her arm breaks, we believed the heroes would find a way to win. They have won at the last moment for 3 seasons to the point where both we the audience, and the characters have tons of confidence. But, After that arm breaks, we realize the truly scary part: Our heroes.... Failed.

Let's be honest, we all were lowering our expectations more and more during the scene 1. God let Max be okay 2. It's only one arm! 3. It's only two limbs you can live with two broken limbs 4. Oh just all limbs are broken but it's okay it's nothing just not the eyes 5. Okay, blind and totally disabled, but it's important that she is alive 6. clinical death doesn't count!!! it doesn't matter that she died for a minute, the important thing is - her body and soul are here 7. well.. at least her body ¿ such an amazing plot and filming

For me, Eddie's death was sad but him accepting it made it less sad. He was ready but Max on the other hand...after everything she's been through, her finally realizing she wants to live and crying that she didn't want to die and how she wasn't ready was what made it sadder.
