The Upside Down and The Mind Flayer always existed but it didn’t have its shape till Henry shaped it. I feel like the Demogorgon was more or less searching for Eleven and everyone it killed and it took was because they were simply in its way but it took them as but each kill was strengthening Vecna

Before 001 became Vecna, he had already imagined a world where he ruled and originally wanted El to be with him, but since El rejected him and opened the upside-down, he got his wish. When he was in the upside-down and explored the world there, it was barren but full of hive-minded entities that he could shape and form to his likeness, especially the Mind Flyer. When El opened the gate a second time when Will Byer went missing, Vecna was able to capture Hawkins setting like a snapshot, and that is why Nancy has yet to have her collection of weapons.

Sincerely?! They made the girl suffer HORROR! Before she even went to Hawkings she had a sad and turbulent life, it only got worse and she lost everything, her brother, her mother drowned in debt and just drinking and working herself to death, her stepfather abandoned her just like her real father! She has trauma, pain, guilt, anxiety, depression and still left all broken, blind and in a coma with no memories! If it was to give her more weight, it would be better to have put an end to it once and let her rest, now they kept her "alive" to later claim death again?! I think what happened is Eleven saved her and kept her alive, but since she still "died" briefly then that means Vecna still has her soul or something. Since Brenner said that those 001 kills, he consumes. So that means in order to revive Max, they likely have to kill off Vecna for good.

I agree with you i think max is trapped inside vecna/henry/one (became one with him) because she died and the gate got opened (which mean vecna got her) before eleven brought her body back to life and thats why eleven couldnt find her inside her mind, and the duffer's brother said that her comma gonna have a major effect on S5 which i think because she is still alive (comma) and can do somethin to vecna/henry/one. But i think max gonna die eventually (its my opinion it could be wrong) because her body couldnt take it just like what the doctor said, it possibly after they kill vecna/henry/one she's also gonna die

And still, why was Will kidnapped in seas one? Why the slug in his lung? Also, did Vecna kidnap him? Demogorgons never demonstrated either patience or telekinesis, remember how the door chain was lifted off? And why was a gate not necessary to kidnap the original victims?

My best guess here is that he was sending these "minions" out to search for El. However, in the cases the minions would loose contact with the other plain (when the gates get closed), thjey default to a preditory behavior and wreck havic. Unless he had other agendas with those creatures and they were just attempts at gaining a foothold in the world. Something else I am considering is that prior to Season 4, Vecna either was not strong enough or was not sure enough he could influence people outside of his dimension. Will might have just been a test. He worked in the lab he grew up in after all. So for him to rely on what he may have learned during that time working in the lab, he probably set the whole thing up to determin how he could invade peoples minds and use their deaths to open portals to his world.

hi! we assume you're referring to the climax / epic battle scene. sadly music is so tricky on youtube, and we did get a copyright strike because the algorithm picked up the song in the background of that scene. the only way to remove the strike is to mute the sound for that particular section. but we LOVED the scene and hope y'all can still feel the energy even without the sound on that part, haha!

Eddie delaying the bats saved all 3 at the Creel house because if he didn't distract the bats, they would've immediately flown back to the Creel house most likely, but Eddie going out and distracting them saved everyone. If Eddie comes back, I hope they do it right, because if he "somehow returns", it'll have the chance of ruining his sacrifice, just like how Palpatine "somehow returning" in ep9 would appear to ruin Anakin's sacrifice in ep6 of Star Wars. Flashbacks with Eddie or possibly his own spinoff/side show would be best. If they somehow make Eddie understandable and making sense, I would love it. I can't give up on Eddie. 😭😭 Also, about Max, even though she's alive now, she technically died, clinically, so Vecna now has her soul/conscience most likely, which is why El couldn't find her when reaching into her mind. I can't wait for season 5. It was painful waiting for season 4 but now I have to deal with another wait. 😂 When Henry/001 was shoved into the upside down, it wasn't a permanent portal. It was a temporary one that didn't stay open, but when the portal in 1983 opened, that one was permanent and stayed open, and by that time, Henry, now Vecna, had gained an immense amount of control, twisting the upside down into an even more evil realm, and copied the real world when the portal opened. About the Mind Flayer: there was already a hive mind in the upside down before Henry arrived, but it had no form. It was only the particles, but Henry molded it into what he wanted, which turned out to be the same shape as what he took an interest in as a kid: black widow spiders. I don't necessarily think Vecna controls the Mind Flayer. He's more like its ruthless enforcer like how Vader is for Palpatine in Star Wars. There are so many SW references that I believe that is the case. He could still definitely have control over the upside down though. It's really up to debate and theorizing until season 5 comes out and we possibly get some sort of confirmation. Season 4 100% is my favorite season so far. It's sad to see the entire town getting wrecked, but since Eddie was a fan favorite, mine included, seeing where he lived get torn apart by the portal opening was especially sad to see. Well now that the whole world will know about the dimensional gateway and what's truly going on, the government won't have to torture people anymore and people won't have to be stalked anymore. It still made me mad seeing how the government just barged into the Byers' house in California earlier in the season too. If that's how it is irl too, I'm not happy with the way people are treated.

(Will, Jonathan and Argyle at least and Mike supports Eleven) I felt they would have been useful, yet unable to assist someone like Eddie. Granted if Eddie didn't buy more time it would have been a huge failure anyway. Half the time I was yelling... GO! GO! GO! Why are you walking so slow when they're suppose to burn and kill Vecna. Probably the only problem i have with this season is that they killed off eddie at the worst time. He didn't deserve a death or at least couldve survived to season 5. But everything else is just phenomenal writing and acting. One of the best in the season.

Eddie couldn’t really have made it to season 5 tbh. Everyone blames him for what’s happening, there’s no way he could be integrated back into society (as unfair and horrible as that is) :/ From a narrative standpoint, he kinda had to die.

I like what someone else said before. That when El opened the second portal at the start of the show, Vecna was able to re-create Hawkens within his world. Like a screenshot. But it doesn't change with the passage of time like it does in the real world. That would explian the missing weapons in Nancie's room.

Max will for sure wake up. There are many theories to as what tho. A vessel for Vecna to have a person on the inside to know what the group is doing. Like Mike was in season 2 when he was infected by the mindflayer. Or that she have got powers of her own now that Eleven used powers on her to bring her back. I myself think she is somehow trapped in the mind of Vecna. I would be very surprised if she does not wake up. To not have her be an important part of next season would be so bad seeing as she is one of the most lovable characters. I for one would rage quit if she just never wakes up. She needs to have a big part of next season one that is happier for her. She have suffered all seasons so far probably more than anyone. She needs to have a season where she actually wins.
