Ive swapped from the DHX2 to the CR. It sat around for TWO YEARS in my parts bin. Installed it and it felt brilliant. Rebound slowed down by 2 clicks, compression up by 3 clicks. So simple yet effective, also the DHX2s are prone to leaking, never had that issue with any CR. Just very reliable.

I've had my CR for a couple of years now and have no complaints about its durability. I bent the bolts mounting the shock to the frame doing big jumps (I'm 85kg), but the shaft has held up to the challenge

@@OtterMTBtech I don't have any in there at all. I've yet to bottom the bike out. I have a bit of a weird sounding setup. Stock shock is 62.5mm stroke, I run a 65mm stroke shock (gives almost 190mm travel out back) but I run my sag as if it was 62.5mm. so I'm at 30% of 62.5mm, sounds weird but it makes the bike feel bottomless.

The dhx coil is the same damper as the float x shock. The dhx2 is the same damper as the float x2. Regardless, get the bomber cr/van r tuned, and it will perform just as good as a dhx2 for a lot less money. ALSO, whatever you do, do not ever run it on a yoke bike.
