Thank You for the great warm up and also accompaniment, I am a bass baritone and find it very good exercise to follow you in head voice almost as high as you, a soprano, this is such good exercise for me. I am also a fan of Jeff Rolka . more videos please😯

Hi Frank! Wow! This is so kind of you to say, I’m honored. I was very curious how baritones & tenors would do with this range, awesome to hear you’re able to utilize it too! I’m so happy to hear this. And yes! Jeff is great!!

Brilliant so very grateful. Thank you, I have a lot of trouble with lower notes especially after singing a lot in my high register ie. Carmine Burana 1st sop. Kind regards Margareta
@SophiaLily10 ай бұрын
Hi Margareta! Thank you for commenting & for watching! Yes! As soprano 1’s we can be very comfortable and adept in that high range, and the low range is tricky! The Hmm-Mah exercise and consciously “singing with your speaking voice” will help a lot to bring out that rich lower register! Thanks again and keep singin !!

hi i have a song on youtube call he my help i wont to know if iam singing with air flow in this song
@SophiaLily10 ай бұрын
Hi there !! Yes! You have a BEAUTIFUL voice and fabulous soul in your sound. For more air support - I would recommend singing as though your mouth is near your belly button; this will give you more core support. Also- play around with singing from more of your hard palate (the spot right behind your teeth); feel the sound vibrate there and you may get a stronger sound! Hope this helps! And again you sound great!

Love this warm up but, and I'm not trying to be rude, your stopping to talk mid flow, is really sending my adhd mind up the wall😅
@SophiaLily10 ай бұрын
Lol! Thank you for your feedback. I was just talking about making a follow up that is strictly the exercises and not also educational (the “why” or “how” behind the exercise- but just the exercise itself!) When I make that one I’ll post the link for it here! Thank you Julia!

I’ve renamed the video - it’s more of a vocal lesson with warm up exercises! True follow-along warm up coming soon 😊

I suggest not stopping to speak during scales. You explain it first and then we are trying to follow you so when you abruptly stop to talk it’s distracting
@SophiaLily9 ай бұрын
Hi Ashli! This is a vocal lesson video that encompasses the why & how of the exercise, but if you check out my “Warm up with me” video- it’s just the exercises without any stops ☺️
