I know that there are stories of the A10 shrugging of fa comical amount of damage IRLB, and many of those stories are true, the A10 has been known to fly home, missing a wing and one of it's engines. BUT, there is a reason that they are really only deployed AFTER air dominance is achieved.

Well, the original was VERY disrespectful to the Navy, and if it was even halfway realistic about how the military worked, especially courts martial, Maverick would have gotten a DD and life sentence in Leavenworth halfway through the first movie for MANY felonies, killing Goose, destroying a jet, repeatedly violating direct orders, and a multitude of UCMJ violations. The new "Maverick" movie should just be about the convict going to a parole meeting. Also, the first movie GROSSLY misrepresented what Top Gun was, and the sort of people who were enrolled.

What surprises me, is how war thunder A-10s (or any other CAS in the game) dont go around 8k meters in the air and dont just spend that time dropping JDAMs like every other modern day CAS lol. I guess its more fun to drop a JDAM from like 2m off the ground, but most modern day CAS platforms like B1 lancers, usually do it from hella alltitude.

The A10 Warthog excels at being CAS for lower tech targets, aka the middle east. However, it would struggle against targets that have radar AA and guided missile systems. However, the A10 warthog has the best survivability and durability of any plane. It has two hydraulic systems for the wings AND a manual system incase both hydraulic systems are taken out. It also has the ability to fly under the power of a single engine as long as the gun isn't fired (the gun actually has more thrust than one engine when fired.)

Id argue both A10s are among the best cas in the game. They carry an impressive amount of armament and are extremely versatile. Id argue that the A10AE is the best cas at 9.7 and the A10AL is the best cas in game. Sams aren't a threat to the A10 at their respective BRs. The thing I like to do is farm SPAA, and then go in for gun runs. I can normally get 3-4 kills before the entire enemy team spawns SPAA and IFVs to murder me.

Something I just noticed today, not sure if you have done it all along or not, but you intro your videos with "... in War Thunder". It's a minor thing but a nice touch, like when someone remembers to put "in my opinion" at the end of their sentence lol. And I imagine it stops a bunch of people being triggered by "well actually IRL X had/did/does/was reported to be/do Y", because it clearly states you are talking about the vehicle in this game and not whatever it is or does IRL.

Hey Odd, I have a question as a player myself, how do you grind out aircraft, seeing as you mainly play ground rb. I've been trying to use aircraft in ground rb but they fall far behind my tank research, even with getting a couple kills each air spawn

Sir…I’m a new player and a subscriber to your channel. Can you please explain how you spot those ground targets in GRB. When I do this I see nothing and am destroyed by SPAA. I have the A10late and am trying to utilize the mavericks but I can’t see anything until 3 miles. I thought they were meant to be used at further distances. Same problem when using the 30mm.
