Great video! I wasn't sure where to start with modding Cyberpunk, but the vast majority of your suggestions made complete sense to me, so thanks for that. I do have to say, though -- I don't find Wardrobe Anywhere immersion-breaking because it's plausible that you could have a neural link with your wardrobe system. If it's just holograms anyway, all you'd really need to do is have the clothing stashed in a physical place and a system in place to manage it -- aka the Wardrobe Anywhere App. Works for me! :D

I love your presentation, very straightforward and to the point. I completed the story but aside from that dismissed the game after seeing how unfinished and bugridden it was. They show pictures of their mod and say "expands upon vanilla" or something like that, but they don't show the difference. Myself, and I assume most other players, don't have their games open when they're downloading new mods, so we can't see the base design and go "Oh, I like this better!" You take that guesswork out for us and it is truly appreciated. Thank you for the effort you put into your work.

16:30 "cutting down on HUD elements" for that you might wanna take a look at "Limited HUD" which alteres visibility to a context based system which is highly configurable. i pretty much have no hud at all when out of combat; loot, minimap and mission on zoom out of combat or when hacking and pretty much everything else set to when needed given context

I just run with RTX off entirely. Cascaded shadow quality medium. Volumetric fog/cloud medium. DLSS Quality. And so on. It’s just my balanced graphics settings. If you think a performance optimization video would be worth making, let me know! 😊

I've been holding off on modding the game, but seeing the in-world navigation mod was the crack that made the dam burst. Finally, this game is so much more immersive to play! Goodbye, minimap, and goodbye constantly driving into the environment while I'm trying to check where I make my next turn.

Hey Apoqsi, I've been looking for a bugfix mod and I was wondering if you may know if one exists due to your expansive knowledge. It's been bugging me since the game's release and is somehow still an issue here in 1.6, which is beyond my comprehension, as I feel like every player will run into it whether they realize it or not. When you get a fancy new weapon that has accessories attached, such as a scope or a silencer, it gets dots overlaying the weapon in the menu to denote this. However if you remove the equipped accessories from the weapon and go in a sell menu, the dots will still appear. This drives me bonkers hahah I've downloaded the Mark To Sell mod now as a workaround that lets me confirm a weapon has the extras taken off before I sell it, but I'd really love this basic feature of the game fixed and would love to hear if you know of any solutions.

The best mod added imo is the save mod ones. I just finished hte vanilla game a week ago and honestly trying multiple play throughs when the only thing determining my difference is "noma level X" is fucking awful. whoever mad this mod is a god send. I noticed how many flaws the game had while playing vanilla if anyone knows if I can keep my save file and mod it that would be great to know I just haven't looked into it myself.

If you're wanting to wipe it entirely clean, the easiest way would be to uninstall and delete any files remaining in the Cyberpunk 2077 folder. Then re-install.

Do you know any currently working LOD mod? im using hide distant 2d cars but the pop in and out of the actual cars is horrible, and previously working mods dont fix it on 1.6

I’d suggest staying away from any mods that promise an increase of draw distance & generalized LOD. These sorts of mods run a high risk of game breaking issues and corrupt saves due to engine related issues when increasing such values. I’ll be sure to take the weekend to look into them again and see whether anything has changed. For now, I recommend against any such mods.

Unfortunately, Cyberpunk mods won't come to console (so hopefully some of this stuff is implemented into the game itself). I've played Spider-Man and loved & 100%'d it. I haven't played Detroit Become Human yet though.

So yeah my gpu running 86c hotter than usual. So far the games I want to try the most like Red Dead Redemption 2 run at 86 and might be reaching 89 when I'm not looking. I have to make this laptop last 1 more year before I get a tower built. And maybe Cyberpunk Edgerunners got me back into the game. 😭

Looks to me that all these mods are the same as using cheat codes in any other game due to laziness… too much struggle to toggle lights in bikes, bribe because is to much struggle to get rid of police that all you have to do is run a few blocks, remove screen color change representing a hacking moment your character is doing, zoom I. More with scopes or sights that are not meant to zoom because you don’t want to use a sniper, craft while in combat because is normal to stop during combat and craft that ammo or weapon system that you wish you didn’t ran out because random moment of unexpected situations happens or easy craft because legendary weapons or mods are the same as lower quality gear, or have the trunk of your vehicle as organized as your house stash. Now some mods are indeed enhance in quality of life like flash light, sliders, and remove that annoying final quest marker. Now that’s my opinion, in the end my immersion will differ from others and probably making things easy is more fun. Oh well this whole comment becomes pointless in the end

Why would you sharing your opinion be pointless? You did it in a calm and constructive manner, which I appreciate immensely. I see a number of these things as quality of life because they’re in other games and target specific use cases. For example, the variable zoom. This could be a game changer for people with bad eyes or those playing on a smaller screen. Combat crafting I see as quality of life because it doesn’t make me overpowered (the game is very easy and I can just swap to a different OP weapon anyways). It adds no value or nerf, it’s purely an inconvenience. As for the other mod, it allows you to craft lower qualities of mods because otherwise the game blocks you from using mods anymore on lower quality gear as you progress. The bribe, as mentioned in the video, is purely because the game is broken right now. The NCPD will attack you on sight due to bugs introduced in Patch 1.5 and have still yet to be addressed since they’re working on the overhaul. It’s just a temporary workaround to the poorly implemented system that triggers at inconvenience times. It’s not something that makes the game difficult. It’s just a broken distraction. As for the screen filter, that’s not a nerf. It’s just a terrible effect. Everything is highlighted, so it’s not there to make you miss anything. It seems it was intended to ensure you didn’t as it makes highlighted objects more viewable. But it’s a horrendous effect to look at for me personally. As for the stash at your vehicle. That’s in the base game. The only mods here was the wardrobe at your stash (again, cosmetics that have no balance impact) and a filter so the menu isn’t cluttered. The filters are in every other menu, so there is no reason for them to not be in the stash menu. But like you said. All of this is subjective, which is why I appreciate you sharing your opinion. I knew going into this video that not everyone would agree that all of these are purely QoL. That’s totally fine. I’m fine with people disagreeing in this manner. Not every mod I cover will be for you - and that’s the great part of modding. There is so much to choose from to tailor the experience to your wants/needs. Hope you don’t find sharing your opinion in this way pointless on any of my future videos, as I respect the way you went about it. Have a great day!
