Battlefront 2 had so much it could still offer. New maps, updates, DLC single player campaigns, Hell a dark side Sith single player campaign, more star fighter content, pod racing events, and new weapons and characters from the expanded universe. EA was so short-sighted.

It was already an amazing game. The multiplayer was nice with game modes that were simple and yet felt unique each time. There was also Heroes Vs Villains which was absolute peak gameplay. I played this religiously because of how amazing the combat felt. It’s still unmatched in terms of lightsaber combat imo and will remain that way. It was the right mix of complex and not too absurd to learn. This game was peak, I would still be playing if it wasn’t for the fact people barely play making it hard to consistently get matches.

I have a special place in my heart for battlefront 2. I didn’t own it myself but I’d go over to my neighbor’s house who had a ps4 and we’d play a ton. The game was awesome as a kid even though I didn’t even watch much star wars. This game and Lego dimensions were the two games I’d play at my neighbor’s house and those memories will stay with me forever. :)

It was actually a game I regretted pre ordering when I got it lol I pre ordered it from game stop and I got the longest time regretted pre ordering the game due to the launch state of the game but they really turned it around two years after release but this and fallout 76 were the reason I never preordered games for the longest times but thankfully they majorly turned battlefront around

For anyone wondering you can consistently find games on console idk bout pc the weekends obviously are best but really any day the week you can get a match and you can play the co-op mode an hero mode with actual people which is an easier way to level your weapons up and get some special ones you can only unlock in co-op
