I think that mihawk got his sword from his mom BUT I know that there are theories that his mom is Rayleighs wife girlfriend or smth but I personally think that it's imu and that's why his sword has the markings as the throne in marijoea and that Imu gave that to him so maybe it was her sword and obviously she probably turned it to a black blade being that she defeated the last joyboy before luffy and most likely other power houses But It is still a mystery why she hides her self but maybe cus the is the king or queen of the word whatever you call it but they say that nobody is the king or queen of the world so if she revealed herself to the world then people would see the world govt as liars so they wouldn't trust the world govt And that's my theory please like (I'm not forcing pls) 👇

Ryuma is the strongest man, he’s the only man who can make a black blade (my theory is that Yoru is a refined blade remade every generation. That would also make him the second uncle of Kuina who is related to Zoro so Zoro x Mihawk is dead. Basically, I think that Ryuma’s true favorite son is the son on Mihawk’s side, so he gave his black blade to the son on Mihawk’s side. The tradition is created, and the latest change is the long thing at the end of the handle which Mihawk designed. You see, Ryuma was actually so talented the talent made him giant, the size of a buccaneer. So, the blade was split into 3 pieces, 1 of which is used to form Yoru. The other one is included in another sword which I will call Bera Himihonji. And the other-other one is made into a sword gifted to the gorosei’s Ganhdi guy so the samurai of Wano wouldn’t be touched)
