here's a tip: you can knock off the ripened pods of Chorus plants and replace them with Chorus Flowers and the plant will keep growing. then when those Flowers ripen/stop growing, you can do it again, and again, and grow your Chorus plants as tall as you like and w/ many many branches very useful, game changing

On that last tip, the netherite block actually doesn't get broken from 1.17 onward, because shulker boxes now drop their contents when broken as an item, meaning the netherite block will drop out and survive in the lava
