Then there's Suriya 44(I'm a huge fan of Karthik Subbaraj's work) and Premalu 2.. I'm curious to see how they continue the story from where they left off, or if it will be a standalone sequel entirely. Even content wise, Mughal e Azam toke 10 years to be made without CGI and any technology, Chhaava have to be something the likes of which have never been seen in Indian cinema, which again looks highly impossible.

Only if there is no legend regarding Sambhaji Maharaj. Akshay's prithviraj is based on a poem by Chand Birdai, that's historically inaccurate. I remember debating with a chauhan guy that Prithviraj died in 1192. But Ghori died in 1206. So it's historically inaccurate. That debate suddenly became a verbal fight. Suddenly I was a mughal sympathizer and anti hindu for him. For him, that poem is true. Most people disregard history and accept these type of poems because these make them winner in the end or have been taught by their parents. Edit : I am not questioning Sambhaji Maharaj, just that is there any legend or tale regarding Sambhaji Maharaj or not.

Come to Maharashtra once and visit the actual places where it all happened.The people only will tell you what's the reality.
