With great delay I found this music excellent more than the modern one not so full of musical melody nothing to do with a modern life. The music of today lost its primordial melody.

Great songs, I love them, but few if any are folk songs. Most, if not all, were composed by known musicians in the 20th century.
@keithwightman94148 жыл бұрын
+George Barnard You are right. I thought Israel would be the most rich country in the world for folk music but it isn't Politically Israel came into being in 1948.....and composers were asked to write 'so called ' folksongs . I thought they would go back generations and was very disappointed to discover that they are all modern.
@mymyby7 жыл бұрын
There are older israeli songs than this that sound much more "folky" (dont ask me for names im lazy to look it up) about richness - there are some pretty good ones but please seprate jewish and israeli songs - which are not the same thing - though agian there are older israeli songs than this in the video

well isreal was created in the 40s so....
@nefriedel6 жыл бұрын
Keith Wightman No need to be disappointed! Some of these songs are based on old Jewish music. All of them fit well into the Jewish musical canon. The new items were composed during a heroic period of Jewish history. So, they are authentic.
