Hi Mike! I had a friend who was a career Air Force fighter pilot. He has been to Area 51, and he told me it's mostly a place where they develop and test different military technologies, especially those related to aircraft. He didn't see any UFO'S or aliens.

I used to live in Saudi Arabia when my husband worked for Saudi Aramco. My husband, on his travels, once went near the holy city of Mecca. He was politely directed onto a route known as " The Christian Bypass". I.loved my time in that beautiful country...and would dearly love to end my days there. Alas, we both miss our time there, but are considered too old to work....being over 60 years of age. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Much of it is a combination of very recent urban legends and the local tourism board's unwillingness to torpedo their increase in tourism. Simon Whistler covers the history of the island, its facts, misconceptions, and outright fabrications on his newer channel about unusual places (forgot the channel name). The total body count is potentially only in the hundreds across its entire history, and the rumors of ghost sightings was literally just misinformation to provide false legitimacy to the greedy stars of a particular ghost investigation show.

Your writers need to do their research on Povaglia. Absolutely NONE of the history they mention is true. It was never a plague island, The soil is not made up of human bones, and there was never a Mental Asylum on the Island. There are about 20 or so graves on the island, most belonging to a single family and there are about 10 plague victims buried there due to an unfortunate ship landing on the island. At current, the government of Italy doesn't want people to go there because the structure are deteriorating and they don't want people getting injured/killed because one comes down on their heads. They are working on a Open Povaglia initiative to get investors to come in and make the island livable, once more.

I do not understand. Mecca is restricted to Muslims only. As a Christian, I have not burning desire to go to Mecca, other than an idle curiosity about architecture and art of the era. Interesting there are no Christian sites forbidden to Muslims or Buddhists or Mormons. Most churches do object to mass murderers and arsonists. But that restriction is due to intent, not theology or skin color. Other areas are sealed as indiscriminate visitation could easily damage the items therein. (Seed Vault, Vatican archives, Mormon vault, Monkey Island and such.) Some locations are forbidden as the claimed items could be shown (much feared) as of no authenticity. The vault of the Bank of England represents a serious goal for thieves. Anything for a video, I see.
