When i was 10 my left leg slipped into my bike front wheel, lower leg looked like 20 cats sharpend their claws on it and above my eyes i had a huge egg- almost a unicorn- doctor next day said he doesn;t understand how nothing broke or cracked, had also a bad nosebleed- but felt nothing... just 20 minutes later after a ice cream back on the bike. A long time ago I learned that we NEVER have to STOP loving someone! Sometimes, we just have to do it from a distance; Also, you're NOT on a time schedule!! So, if anyone EVER tells you to 'get over it,' or 'snap out of it,' etc., tell them to PHUCK OFF!! (see what I did there?;) ). No, it's not very nice, but pretty mild, compared to a throat punch!! I realize that it's probably zero comfort to you, but, reading your comment, as an outsider, my very first thought was that it sounds as though she was afraid; either because of, or maybe not even knowing, what was happening! Either way, MY first thought was thank GOD that the last face she got to see was YOURS!! Someone that obviously LOVED HER very much!! And, NOT some stranger! It wasn't an EMT/paramedic, that didn't know her, that had to ASK what her name is, talking loudly to her, just taking care of business! Don't get me wrong! That's exactly what they're trained to do & what they usually HAVE to do! But, as SHE was 'leaving,' the last face that she was blessed to see was someone that actually LOVES HER! I hope that SOME day, that tiny little thing can bring you at least an iota of comfort! I'm so very sorry for your loss, love.

She is still with me in October I had a major heart attack and died for a minute and when I did it was like I was in a pitch black room with her in front of me like she was standing in the sunlight. She said nothing she simply looked at me and then I woke up after being shocked in the er and hit with epinephrine 2days later I received a call from my aunt saying she had a dream that mom told her to tell me she was there when I had the heart attack. Severe Fibromyalgia. In my normal everyday life, a good day for me feels like I have a really bad flu. That constant exhausted, muscle aching, miserable feeling, is what I consider a really good day, and I go out and enjoy myself and do the physical activities I usually can't do, like grocery shopping, socializing, attempting to clean my house. My last decent flare up I spent 10 weeks bedridden with such severe nerve pain I couldn't wear clothes, take a shower or move without wishing for death. (I was begging my husband to kill me every single day.) The fatigue makes your muscles, joints and tendons feel like you have been run over by a bus while running non stop on a treadmill in Hell while randomly being stabbed by hot pokers, making you wonder who it is that has a Voodoo doll of you and all the ways you are going to torture them when you find them. To cap it off, the constant 10 week long migraine, with bonus cluster headaches, made it almost impossible to open my eyes, tolerate any noise or the slightest of movements. So there's no possible way to distract yourself, can't watch TV, read, or listen to music. You are essentially trapped in your own body. Then there's the IBS, the dry mouth, dry eye, dry itchy skin that you cant scratch or rub without screaming, mental fog, inability to regulate body temperature, constant thirst, heart palpitations, fevers, restless legs, sore throat, allodynia, vertigo, seizures, inability to sleep, anxiety and depression, panic attacks, vomiting, nose bleeds, and trust me, the list goes on. To make matters worse, this is an invisible disability and for the most part, we look completely normal (after years of learning to hide our pain) and are treated like hypochondriacs and drug seekers. I completely understand why they used to lock Fibromyalgia sufferers up in mental institutions, as it does sound like the ravings of a lunatic. I mean, who could possibly have all of this shit going on? Sadly, there are far too many of us and far too little medical research being done to help us. I'm not nice enough to say I wouldn't wish it on anybody. For me, this condition was bought on by years of childhood physical and sexual abuse, resulting in my brain and nervous system seriously malfunctioning. So yeah, I do wish it on some people.

I managed to knock out 4 on that list lol -I'm a trigeminal neuralgia sufferer. -I had cluster headaches weekly for over a year before finding the cause. -I had a stone block my ureter and needed emergency surgery to relieve the pressure built up in my kidney. -I had a 2nd degree burn on my arm from hot oil. I didn't see mention of trigeminal neuralgia, where was that? I had the MVD (microvascular decompression) surgery 14 years ago, and even though my vision is messed up because of it, it's worth it! I suffered that hideous pain for 18 years, and if that surgery hadn't helped, I wouldn't be here now. Feeling was like someone stabbed my face with a red-hot, electrified knitting needle several times a day, while my right eye was being scooped out with a hot spoon. I couldn't go anywhere, either I felt too bad or I was in fear of having an attack in public. The red Harvester ant is the US version of the bullet ant, and I've experienced that pain, 9-10 hours of pain that felt like someone holding a lit cigarette against my foot. There's a worse creature here though, and I pray I _never_ experience that pain! It's the Tarantula Hawk wasp, and it shares the #1 spot of the world's most painful sting/bite with the bullet ant.

I've been relying on nerve blocks, Lyrica, opioids, and supplements like RLA, chelated Mg, etc. How I am on good days, I can live with. But on bad days I can't function (work, shop, do laundry, etc). Yet I can't seem to find a common trigger for those bad flare ups. So glad you're happy with your results! Maybe I'll try again in a few years.

🙋🏻‍♀️ Trigeminal Neuralgia, here! It's called the suicide disease for a reason!! This explanation of the pain made it sound much more pleasant than it actually is. The drs are still trying to figure out if my headaches that I also have on the same side are cluster or migraine headaches. My eye feels EXACTLY like this cluster headache description though. Excellent lol. Then I have the psych stuff, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and I agree, they are pretty brutal, too. I appreciate that being on a list like this!

Where was tn mentioned? I missed it. I suffered from that horrible disease for over 18 years, and I'm so glad that I was able to get the MVD surgery done in 2010. It didn't heal completely though until 4 years ago. The eye pain! Ohhh. I describe it as feeling like my right eyeball is being scooped out of the socket with a hot spoon, that has teeth like a saw blade. The many different drugs I was prescribed ruined my quality of life. My memory was so bad after taking high doses of Topamax that I forgot how to drive! I sat in the driver's seat, couldn't remember how to shift the car into drive, and forgot which pedal was the brake. I went back inside the house and cried. I had to quit driving for months, until that drug was out of my system. My husband of 15 years left me for someone healthier soon after that, telling me he "didn't sign up for this". I'm very allergic to Tegretol, that caused a trip to the ER. Cymbalta was another nightmare drug that also did not help me at all. The one thing that did relieve pain was an oil made from cannabis, called Simpson's Oil. I microdosed with it daily for about a year, and then stopped using it when I realized I had gone 2 weeks without an attack! That was over 4 years ago, and the pain is still gone, and I still am not using the cannabis oil because I don't need it (it's expensive but effective).

If childbirth is one of the top painful things, then Endometriosis deserves a spot, as it’s been described as feeling the same. While I have Endo, I don’t have kids, but can only imagine. I’ve blacked out walking and have fallen down stairs before from a wave of pain. But the feeling of being on fire is probably the worst physical pain I’ve ever felt. It was an anesthesiologist oopsie, so a chemical was injected into me that made me honestly think I had caught on fire. I’m pretty sure my depression is shutting my body down though. Fun times.

Whatever you do. Make sure to go to the toilet as soon as you feel like going. I didn't and that lead to and infection down there which caused very painful swelling. Doctors thought it could've been testicular torsion but luckily wasn't. Side affects of this pain is long longggggg sleepless nights. Sadly, it's happened twice...

Watching this video right after dealing with a tooth abscess, infection, and needing a root canal because four years ago I knocked the tooth out and the temporary bond fix chipped letting bacteria into the tooth I can 100% say it’s the worst pain I’ve currently experience and I’ve fractured/ compressed my back, burned my hand badly, road rash accidents, and many more the tooth was top of my list for lasting pain!
