And really, back in 2002 the notorious pricing in the book "Collecting Classic Video Games" by Billy Galaxy was unrealistic and far off from everyday purchases for most , if not all, boxed titles. More so when the boxed titles were acquired as part of a total system purchase.

That is probably true, I wasn’t collecting Vectrex back then. I didn’t get one until maybe 2010 or so. Since then I have rarely seen boxed vectrex games IRL. everything in my collection is loose as that is all that seems to show up at my local game shops.

There was at least one other one called Crazy Coaster. I am not sure if there were any more.

@@teknohed damn paying a fortune for only two games. Seems like the whole Vectrex company was into longshots.

@@Papernails The goggles came with 3D mineStorm as well. The 3D goggles were created near the end of the unexpected demise of the Vectrex and a lot of other systems at the time. They had started work on a 3D pole position and probably had plans for lots more eventually, until the bubble popped.

Boxed copies of Mr Boston do exist

They do? That is interesting. I was told that mr boston was something given out to employees of a liquor company and were basically clean sweep carts with a new label affixed to them. I didn’t know a box copy existed.
