I was born in 1978. I watched Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks etc when I was a boy. I first heard of Hulk Hogan in 1989 through the first ever WWF (As it was then) arcade game. Now in 2023, I’m still a fan.

Not just that segment, but because I was burned out from the overall terrible booking during that time & after the Survivor Series PPV that year, I finally got fed up & took a break from pro wrestling for a while.

Goldberg vs Lashley at Summerslam was bad. When Goldberg tried to show the fans he can actually wrestle by doing different moves the crowd actually booed him. And the match should've been more like Goldberg vs Lesnar at Mania 33 where it was just a car crash instead both men at Summerslam decided to do a slower paced match which didn't help

I honestly believe that it just shouldn't be a PG product. Some of WWE's boom periods were the Attitude Era and Ruthless Aggression. You can have a 14A product without being gross and racy about it; but at least stop being so rigid and anal about what is and isn't allowed. It's a bunch of adults involved, after all. I would honestly love to see a resurgence of a bit more of a mature product but with a proper Women's division instead of playing into Jerry Lawler's perversions
