I met Shane at a restaurant I was out for a family dinner when I was young, he was with his wife and first kid who was a baby at the time. My brothers and I were too nervous to approach him, so my mom let him know we were big wrestling fans, he said hey to us, and said he was going to help his wife and baby into the car and be right back. We all thought he was probably just going to leave, not wanting to waste time on us. He came back, and talked with us for like 10 minutes, asking who our favorite wrestlers were and such. Will never forget that!

I saw Bobby Heenan and The King Harley Race at "Love Joes," a buffet restaurant in Canton, Ohio, back in the mid 80's. I was a young kid at the time. I was frozen seeing those two eating. While the Brain totally ignored me (total heel lol), but Harley asked me politely, "May I help you?" I was so nervous to say anything but went back to our table. We later went home to watch GLOW Wrestling, but wow, I nearly met the Brain and the King!

Fun Fact about Scott Hall's moment: when he gave away his belt to those two kids, he was expecting Vince to be mad at him, but instead Vince told him that he did the right thing and ordered a new belt for him. Scott Hall was truly a legend, may he rest in peace

Kind of sad that he had that low of an opinion of Vince. We have all made mistakes. We all have our faults. I don't see Vince being so cheap as to get upset with one of his stars for giving a couple of kids the best moment of their lives over a $200 belt as one of his faults. I doubt he was actually walking around with the real one anyway. Those things cost $500,000. There was too many wrestlers with coke problems back then (especially Hall) to be letting them do that

Mick Foley thought that Vince was gonna scold him for respecting a promise he made to a Japanese booker to appear in Japan for a few dates, which was based on word btw. Vince apparently was ok with it, tho, he even said he wanted a man like Mick working for his company. if Mick knew him better he would have known that Vince already had been betrayed by wrestlers who said they were loyal to the WWF only to jump into WCW when they paid more over there, with Mick respecting a promise of word showing Vince he wasn't greedy, and that's the thing; people weren't really aware of who Vince actually was. also, if I remember correctly, replica belts weren't a thing back then, he was carrying the real one. EDIT: huh, guess people really didn't know who Vince was. can't say I'm surprised he turned out to be evil but I also can't say that finding out he's evil doesn't feel like getting kicked in the teeth

@@echolalia682 I don't know who told you that the belts cost $500k, I own a Reggie Parks IC and a Reggie Parks Winged Eagle and both total cost me about $20k. Also, they usually have multiple copies of the same belt (One for shows, one for the wrestler to carry with them, etc.) It still was a stand-up thing for Scott Hall to do in that day and age, I can completely understand why he thought Vince might take umbrage to it.

I met edge in airport in Atlanta. As a grown man I was nervous to say nothing. I finally mustered “Hey man. Thanks for all you do for our entertainment.” Dude sat down and talked to me for 10 minutes about his travel etc like a normal cat. Really good guy to do that.

Cody did an autograph signing at the armory in my town many years ago. My friend and I got there late and his staff had all ready packed up all the photos he was signing. He was like did you guys just get here? Then had his staff go back and get us both photos and signed them for us. Shane and Stephanie may have come off as spoiled brats, but despite their position in the company, one thing that always impressed me is that they took the major bumps. Absolutely didn't have to given their positions in the company, but both took every major finisher at least once during the attitude era. I guess this is a late game list that doesn't go back to the Attitude Era, but Steve Austin's last match with the Rock was extremely emotional as well as when Shawn Michaels superkicked Flair for the last time.

The athletism and various risks they take were always mind blowing. When I was younger my family used to live shelters. Well its just so happened 2yrs in a row mick foley hosted toys for tots and took pictures with everyone and talked to everyone for a couple minutes. Wow I never knew what kind of man Scott Hall was, that was one of the nicest things I’ve heard of someone doing, i gurantee you he made those kids lives and that is something he very will didn’t have to do, what a kind hearted man

The immediate look on Show's face was telling for sure. I remember watching that match and though the poor guy done got his neck broken, and the impending dread that Show wore on his face made it even more gut wrenching

3:46 I particularly love it when celebrities do this for disabled people. As someone with a disability that fortunately makes me more high functioning but unable to physically work a regular job at this time (hopefully my issues can be treated, known as POTS Syndrome that developed in 2019 - I was a former warehouse Team Lead at that time)...I can only imagine that someone in a wheelchair with developmental issues must feel quite hopeless often. When someone goes out of the way to make them feel special, it really shows their character. That person admires them so much and doesn't expect for them to do such a thing or take the time of day for them. When they do, it sticks with them and inspires them throughout their lives to know that someone actually cared about them beyond the typical family, caregivers and such that are paid to watch them daily.

My older brother wrestled with John Cena, (who went by _Prototype_ at the time), at the same wrestling school in Cali, way back in the day. One day, my brother botched a punch that left Cena bleeding. Cena seriously didn't react at all. He wasn't angry or even remotely upset. He just smiled and repeatedly reassured my bro not to even worry about it at all. The very, very few times I met him as a kid, he was always smiling and affable. I'll never forget it because he looked exactly like Prototype from one of my favorite games, Tekken 2, which I've always assumed is relevant. That dude is _genuinely_ amazing and seemingly always has been. Truly a wonderful human-being.

This is more like it. I usually skip your videos because they focus a lot on negativity or sad moments. Talking about the wrestlers who ruined their careers, the first and last matches of wrestlers who have passed and talking about what happened to the children of wrestlers who have passed (with the last 2 having benoit in the thumbnail..) Seeing this video I can already tell that those videos are probably well made and well written regardless of their content. And this video was just so nice and wholesome. More of this please!

Man this video made me miss Bray Wyatt more. 100% heard nothing but good things about him, even if there was something negative in it it’s usually because he was in character or just in a bad mood. Truly a good man.

One of my favorite moments was between triple H and Lilian Garcia. Lilian had a family emergency, but Vince wouldn't let her leave. So tripled H told her to make fun of him for losing the title when she announced him for a match, which she did. He chased her, which allowed her to leave the arena and deal with her family issues.
