As someone who's a global marketer in personal branding I actually think this is a brilliant idea - to visit Mark's list - for both entertainment and brand reasons. Many people have been following Mark and newly admire Chris, myself included. I think this is a symbolic virtual encounter in the long-term storytelling for a KZbin viewer that excites me personally. Two very different and yet complementing figures putting amazing energy and authenticity into their work. I think this was a matter of time. Watching ANY city come to life bright and early in the morning is special. It's a different vibe. I'm an early riser myself, and I would wake up and watch Chiang Mai come to life from my gorgeous huge balcony, drink my tea, and paint ceramics as the sun rose on the city. Then catch a GRAB to some unknown spot for some breakfast, followed by filming and taking photos of wherever I landed. Nothing better, in my opinion!

But I think early morning anywhere in Thailand is great to see. You knocked it out of the park with this video it was epic. Just beautiful. Love the slow mo stuff.

For me this is number 1 on the list. Every time I am back in Thailand ( 5 weeks to go) because of the Jetlag, I get up early to roam around, do some photography and wait untill you can find your breakfast spot to open. It is pure bliss 🙏

This is perfect, Chris! Your "list to rule them all" series begins exactly 25 days before me and the missus arrive in Bangkok to begin our longest stay there since we lived in Thailand 40 years ago. In those days, Bangkok was home base (for four years) but we traveled the country exetensively - almost as much as Paddy Doyle. Since returing to the States, we've visited Thailand often for a few weeks at a time since then. But now we're retired, and it's time to return and ito make a new home for ourselves in the kingdom. Starting next month, we will be in Bangkok briefly and then head up to Chiangmai for a a few months' stay in the north before heading south for some serious beach time in Hua Hin, Krabi and some of those islands we haven't been to since our Peace Corps days. (I understand they have elecricity now.) We look forward to watching your channel daily as we count down and pack up for our immenent adventure. And then see how many items on your list we've either done to death or need to try out for the first tike. Keep up the good work, Chris. You da man.

Looking forward to the month. When I would go to Pattaya I would get a beachfront hotel and get up at 5 am, get a "Capo" or 2 and watch the beach chair vendors setting up from nothing to a thriving business. aw dahm I miss it.

I have to agree it a amazing to wake up very early and see Bangkok wake up it experience that i will never forgot, use too love it when lived their way back 2009, long with a morning run in lumphini park euphoria !!! Bangkok not just about parting all night and waking up in the afternoon, it also about getting bed early and waking up early and meeting the locals. pure joy.
