Another great highlight video about BKK/Asok area. I enjoyed the segment about Benjakitti Park very much. My dad used to work at the Tobacco Monopoly over 50 years ago. He used to bring us to the office on weekends and we used to explore the park and the lake around it. Keep up the great work!!! 🙂🤘🙏

I can vouch for Pala pizza -- I was recently in BKK for six weeks, while staying on Asoke, and I went to that pizza place at least five times, maybe more. Delicious every time! The dough is fantastic. And they come up with some really creative combinations for different pizzas. Great spot!

I can back up your recommendation. I never feel guilty eating Italian food in Bangkok when I eat at Pala. Plus the staff is wonderful.

Hillary Pizza on soi 4 cooked in a wood oven is my best pizza in BKK. That being said in the USA you can buy a $3 frozen pizza and it tastes better. Cheese is expensive in Thailand and they use very little. Marco Polo also has an ok pizza

Fun video! I used to run a lot in the Tobacco Monopoly back in the 90's before it became what it is today. Once the Green Mile was completed it was much better as you didn't have to cross the expressway on that rickety staircase and bridge.

I first stayed at clover asoke, dream hotel and arte hotel, fantastic options! I highly recommend all of them. Easy access everywhere nearby. But cover asoke has a special place in my heart ❤️

Great video, I always stay in the Asoke area and have lunch every day in Terminal 21. Country Road bar is great. I have a friend that used to work there, now she works at another bar East of there on Sukhumvit. That's the only place I like to go in Soi Cowboy. I haven't been to Thailand in 5 years now, but will definitely be visiting all those places that you mentioned. Benjakitti Park looks amazing. I have some really good friends that live in Samutprakan and usually stay with them for a about a week. Thanks again for the video and all the great places to see.

Soi 22 has some fun dive bars on the soi and in the alleys. There's a cover band bar on the corner of Soi 22 and Sukhumvit. Honey House 2 is a good place to stay. Honey House is closer to Sukhumvit but one outside door was unsecured and there were stay cats in the hallway. Rooms at HH2 are about $25 per night.

I love Asok. Always stay there or nana. Love to run to Benchakitti Park for a couple of Laps then the green mile and into lumphini which is an oasis for muscle heads and runners. That green mile is a godsend I remember battling the old bust uneven footpaths to her to lumphini in older times.

I found a little back alley restaurant off of Soi 8 called Pantaree last time I was there. Fantastic local food at low prices. Very little English spoken there, but they understand pointing at the menu. 🙂 A little bit outside Asok by a block or so, but worth it.

Funny, I am just seeing this video , but I was in Asok last week. I hit up the Tapae place across from the Korean restaurant… next to the burger joint , and taking over the Mexican restaurant … 100% fire. I did try the log guy around the corner as well ( next to all the massage places - saw them too😅) and his place is great … And so is Marks Phed Mark … but Tapae was amazing

Thanks for the info on the Vietnamese restaurant I ahve been thinking of going back to that place. I eat slices at the Roma place daily lol. The one extra place I can mention in the area now is the Hwangjae Barbershop. No hair cutting here but other services for 700 baht 90 min. shave massage facial manicure pedicure and ear cleaning. Great place
