I discovered your videos at the South Kennedy Meadows and was quite drawn in so I started from the beginning. However, I had to watch the 2 videos when you got to Tehachapi. I grew up there and am moving back next summer. The Cameron Ridge section is the section I hiked with my Dad before he became to ill to hike anymore. He had already been battling cancer when we did it. It was such a special time and the last “big activity” we did together just him and I. Once I get back to living up there I plan to do more hiking in the area and do some trail Angeling. Loving your videos.

Sometimes its the unexpected adventures that happen that make for the best times...at least ones you never forget. Just like Lynn said, "it is what it is". I also like the way you encourage others to get out there and do something. I do the same in my videos. I really believe people need encouragement sometimes and other times their butts need to be kicked. There is nothing better in life than spending it out in nature. Lovin' every minute of you videos. That part is to me the most challenging part of the PCT because it is the wind farm capital of the PCT. The water caches and stops like hikertown really are a pick me up. The aqueduct is insane. Monotony. And though some people worry about wildlife on the trail like bears and snakes snd cougars but the biggest nuisance is usually the mice and rats. I’m glad you gals were able to improvise and keep going despite the challenges. Congrats 🎊 on five months in the trail. You can almost see Mexico now. 😉 I know you will enjoy agua dulce and the put stop in acton. Wrightwood is a cute little town as is big bear. Hopefully you will miss the rain and snow up there. You are heading back to the beautiful section of the PCT. Vasquez rocks and pine trees and hopefully less wind

The kindness of people you are meeting along this journey is heart warming and evidence of a beautiful, positive presence in the world. Bless the many trail angles who grace you with food, water, and shelter. The segment where you were going under the windmills, a shadow of one appeared and swept over Annette and Lynn. It was as if the winds, the vital breath of the universe, sustained you and held you together. May not have felt that way but look at the strength and steadfastness it took to endure it. While you hiked the California desert, we were on the trails of the Oregon high desert, near Bend. Continued prayers and blessings!

Some stunning scenery here! I'm sorry that hungry rat ate your shoelaces and pole straps. That's just weird! Rats are weird 😂 good thing it didn't eat your tents though.

You live such an amazing life and I love the videos so I kind of hate to see the end of the trail coming so fast but all trails have both a beginning and an ending. So where to next?

I was worried about you all in the big rain storms that we have been getting. How is your tent holding up? I hope that you can get it fixed or get another one in case you get hit by lots of wind and rain. A friend had rodents eat the back of her bra strap once. I like to keep everything inside my tent, now. Less than 500 miles to go!! Yahoo!

What is a good amount of water to carry in this section for April would you think? I am taking my mom and I don't want to take too little or too much. Any advice to a first time backpacker?

It's hard to know. Reading far out comments will help you the most. Some road junctions have water caches.

It’s a mystery how HT stays open. Surprised that Code Enforcement hasn’t paid them a few visits.
