I discovered your videos at the South Kennedy Meadows and was quite drawn in so I started from the beginning. However, I had to watch the 2 videos when you got to Tehachapi. He had already been battling cancer when we did it. It was such a special time and the last “big activity” we did together just him and I. Once I get back to living up there I plan to do more hiking in the area and do some trail Angeling. Loving your videos.

Hello beautiful ladies! So, You were hiking thru that rainy splash! It's certainly a little different watching you going south on the PCT.
@kellyjohnson36173 жыл бұрын
That part is to me the most challenging part of the PCT because it is the wind farm capital of the PCT. The water caches and stops like hikertown really are a pick me up. The aqueduct is insane. Monotony. And though some people worry about wildlife on the trail like bears and snakes snd cougars but the biggest nuisance is usually the mice and rats. I’m glad you gals were able to improvise and keep going despite the challenges. Congrats 🎊 on five months in the trail. You can almost see Mexico now. 😉 I know you will enjoy agua dulce and the put stop in acton. Wrightwood is a cute little town as is big bear. Hopefully you will miss the rain and snow up there. You are heading back to the beautiful section of the PCT. Vasquez rocks and pine trees and hopefully less wind

The kindness of people you are meeting along this journey is heart warming and evidence of a beautiful, positive presence in the world. Bless the many trail angles who grace you with food, water, and shelter. The segment where you were going under the windmills, a shadow of one appeared and swept over Annette and Lynn. It was as if the winds, the vital breath of the universe, sustained you and held you together. May not have felt that way but look at the strength and steadfastness it took to endure it.
