Hi Ziplock... Your tree sign at 4:42 is priceless. Of all the lessons learned on a thru-hike, the message on your sign is perhaps the greatest one. We start out thinking we must conquer the terrain or the weather or the bugs and soon learn that it is our own "self" that we must overcome in order to reach the goal. It is "self" that says the trail is: "too hard, too long, too lonely or too hot or cold." And it is "self" that says: "Quit." Along that line of thought, you may enjoy listening to Warren Doyle's 7 mins of trail wisdom which is the best I've ever heard and says what your sign does: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYLLd2SrmL56l80 Congratulations on your growth in trail wisdom!!

Wow that video is so true in so many ways, thanks for sharing! We have to let the trail change us the way it deems fit and I can tell the trail has changed me in so many ways already. I have definitely adjusted to being comfortable with being uncomfortable, especially the days in rain and hail this year. Thanks for watching!!

Great to see you are doing well on the Trail. The weather seems to be cooperating for the moment. How many miles is the aqueduct section?

About 20 miles along/near aquaduct, the whole section from hikertown (neenach) to Tehatchapi is about 49
