I love your teaching. This is great for non-native English speakers to know because native speakers don’t speak English like in an English book or school. I greatly appreciate your time and knowledge that I can't learn in a book. ❤

Hi Gabby. It’s a useful show. I get a one. “ I don’t see you holding up your end. Could you provide more examples about this phrase? “ Hold up (one’s) end.

We say “hold up your end of the bargain/deal” and that means we haven’t done what we promised to do. You promised something but didn’t complete it. I walk the dog every day because my brother won’t hold up his end of the deal.
