In 2:35 you aren't drowning you are just for a split second inside the door. This also happens when you are glitched inside a block. Since there is no air inside, the bubbles will be shown

I found that big for 1.9 before and it happened on every version from 1.7 to 1.13 It's a driver issue as near as I can tell. For me it was happening on my ROG zephyrus, and when I disabled the mux switch it stopped happening for all versions

my guess for why the falling block made you fall through the ground is that they made collision disable on block faces that are covered by other block, meaning you would fall through the block if there was another block on it

Yep, to save a lot of memory in these gigantic procedural worlds, it's generally a good idea to render only what players are supposed to see. And since falling sand/gravel entities turn into solid blocks when they fall, they obscure the block beneath, which in turn removes it from the memory Mojang must have forgotten that you can still stand on it though. This is also the reason why x-ray glitches work like they do. Since Minecraft only renders vertices that are next to air or other fluids, you can see through any compact spaces.

The squid feature should be reintroduced since in one episode of spongebob, squidward produced a black liquid when scared, which tasted good according to spongebob. He set up a stand for it, became rich, and built a "haunted house" just to *milk* off of the ability.

The 1.9 glitch also happens in 1.13, the second ever Minecraft update I have ever played. The first was obviously 1.12, when Minecraft got more colorful, also rigged. In fact, every update in the middle era was absolutely wasted, starting in 1.7 until 1.13.
