For all sweaty tryhards out there: wait for your squad, going 1v3 all the time only makes you go to the lobby faster. Also disconnecting as soon as you get downed and abandoning your teammates only makes you even sweatier, don't be like that.

Don't loot a deathbox while your teammates are bleeding on the ground; by the time you get them up the third party shows up you want to get them up as soon as possible. Once you finish the fight and you're expecting a third party drop your shield and pick up a new one from one of the death boxes. now you will have easy swaps to prevent you from dying in a dire situation. Sky fragging is something you must learn. Arcing a grenade directly above you or Hail Mary will help put some damage on those peeking fights. Using arcstar to breach a door. For example as wraith , you can time your phasing with the explosion slipping past inside the building unharmed and this cuase confusion for the enemies if your team pushes in and does damage. This will take attention off of you momentarily, you come from their rear inside do some damage. It important that you keep atleast one grenade to as tool to escape, advance, or placeing pressure on the remaining squad mates. Fragging a downed opponent is easy way to make the remaining enemies go on the rescue, they are more like to make a mistake.

Learn how and when to lead in Solo Queues. Nothing worse is having your whole team stand in a single area for too long of a time because no one wants to take the initiative to lead the group in a direction. But, if someone on the team already seems to have good leading skills, let them.
@JSaturday-Yeah3 жыл бұрын
Honestly I can lead a team or let someone else lead. It does get frustrating when the person you think has the most experience like over 100 kills leaves a match. I was playing solo in a trio match because my teammates thought it was funny to be trolls and leave before even landing. Got done in by a Seer Gibraltar combo
@Mon_553 жыл бұрын
For me, I only like to lead towards the end game. It's where I feel I can find the best position. Usually I don't mind following otherwise. But if it's ring 1 I just let my teammates know I'm really cool with going anywhere, as long as we do it in a smart way and don't get separated. But if I know my teammates can take care of themselves (and I can for the most part), then I don't care where we go.

How to get Good 1. Get your mechanics on point { Develop LAZER AIM } - If your aim is trash then go Firing Range +15mins per day-- Practice recoil control + Hip fire spray + Strafing while shooting w/ Accuracy { Smooth & Fast Movement } - doesn't have to be flashy just learn how to move fast & efficient. ( Watch some sweaty players study their movement) { Crosshair placement } - PRE AIM your corners -- & obv keep Crosshair roughly at head height { Peeking } - Learn how to peek from cover & high ground -- Use head glitches-- -- DO NOT over expose your body too much when peeking off high ground -- Also be unpredictable when peeking... don't just peek from the same position.... Mix it up. As you move up to diamond / masters, enemies will punish you if your slow & predictable 2. Positioning & awareness { High Ground } - High Ground = Very Good !!! { Pinch / Sandwich } -- Don't get pinched between 2 teams. Pinched = Very Bad... disengage if possible { Use of cover } - No matter where you are always be subconsciously aware of WHERE your nearest COVER is -- Don't get caught in the open with no cover { Line of Sight (L.O.S) } - Always break line of sight when pushing or repositioning or disengaging. Move swiftly from cover to cover to minimize damage { Angles } - Create angles with your team mates while fighting. If you can get a flank & shoot from an unexpecting angle then you will likely get an easy knock / wipe 3. General Strategy { First Knock } - The team that gets first knock has a MASSIVE advantage. APE that sh*t (if safe to do so) -- HOWEVER don't get reckless... The worse thing you can do is feed the enemy team 1 v 1s -- Push together, push smart - get angles. { Grenades } - Grenades are OP - Engage 3rd party's w nades / stop 3rd party's w nades / when you're walking thru capitol and their is no teams & its awfully quiet... Just start yeeting grenades in the air then watch as teams miraculously appear out of nowhere { Smart Drops } - When dropping, watch if a single enemy splits off his team mates.... if you see a split enemy then you can jump him & get an easy kill off drop { COMMS } - Learn callouts and practice having good comms. Call damage, Call Cracks (when you crack someone's armour), Call Low health / One shot. Call if you're healing. Call to disengage 4. Analysis { Watch & study Sweaty / Pro players } -- If you die to a sweaty wraith with 4K & 20 bomb badge. Then stick around and spectate them for a bit. Watch how they play & analyse the decisions they make. You could pick up a few tips just by watching from a analytical mindset. { Record & Breakdown your own gameplay } - Point out your mistakes & identify your weakness. Visualise what YOU could have done differently. If you're constantly blaming your team mates then you may never improve. Mistakes are a great opportunity to learn Enjoy yourself! Have fun, Drink more Water

These are actually amazing tips. It's only been about a week since I really started playing Apex, played it the first time probably around the time Rampart was released. Mostly my problem is me trying to revive my squadmates during a firefight, safe to say Ive died a lot because of that but Im learning. I honestly was intimidated by battle royales before but after putting time into this I dont even know why I put up with Shitwatch.
@Mon_553 жыл бұрын
What helped me around this is, if your teammate is providing cover fire try to go for the rez. And say you're alone, and you try to go for the revive, if you listen for the enemies footsteps. One thing that does help you get the revive on a teammate is to actually do some damage to the opposing team. If your teammate is helpful they'll crawl somewhere safe and you can revive them behind cover. Sometimes some people will pressure you to revive them and it won't be safe, try not to panic and use your own judgement. Also, a quick little tip. Sometimes your teammates crawling to you can give away your position. So I would hope they won't crawl towards you if you're low health and hiding to not get caught. In a case like this it's up to your teammate to just try to crawl somewhere safe enough for you to grab their banner when they die. Mostly, it goes both ways.

I knew some of these but what I really need to do is change it up more. I really only play 2-3 legends but really only one.. and there’s only a hand full of places I land at. So imma work on that and just be more aware of the situation around me, some games I think clearly, but most I don’t I just over think and sometimes works sometimes not. But tbh I think that’s where I’m going wrong. I can hit diamond solo queing, but I just hit a point where I can’t go up higher, I’m a decent player and have good aim but I over extend sometimes and it screws me. K/d stay at 1.2 - 1.3 but there’s been way to many times I get one or two knocked and I over extend killing myself to the last one when we’re both low HP.
