3:45 NO WAY, I'm italian, I'm from Sicily and I didn't expect that ahahah. The correct version is "Unni persi i scarpi u Signuri", but I don't fully understand why the developer put this specific sicilian thing in the game. The game is set in 1942, and while Latin was the official language in Vatican City, Italian, as well as Roman and Tuscan dialects, were commonly spoken. Sicilian wasn’t one of them, mainly because the Vatican wasn’t part of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. It’s a really specific phrase, and even people from other regions of Italy usually don’t know it. I think the developer may have had a Sicilian friend (or someone with connections to Sicily) who taught him this phrase, and Miro probably liked its meaning, the same one you explained in the video, which is completely accurate and also tied to Christian culture (if he hasn't sicilian friends or connections I would be curious to know how he discovered this phrase ahaha). Anyway big claps to Miro 👏

1:06 there is another, more obscure reference to The Darkness in Fear and Hunger 1. Darces intro contains the lines: “ reducing the feeble citadels to ashes and blood stains. Enslaving the poor womenfolk, whilst every man is slain. Only spare a child or two that it’s legend may grow.” This is pulled directly from a spoken word section of a song titled “Barbarian” of their 2015 album titled Last of Our Kind. Blew my mind because I just happened to discover that the band got back together in the 2010’s and made more albums around the same time I got into Funger(and greatly enjoy both).

there may be one actually but its more convoluted. we know that the madman killed its victims with a hammer. if you read the Craftman's Notes, you learn about how the effigy came to be found in the White Mold Apartment : the Craftman took it there. the Craftman also doesn't see super fondly on Alll-mer. it may be possible that the Craftman, who lives in the White Mold Apartment, became the Madman when Rher's moonlight bathed Prehevil and he did his Sulfur Ritual ( killing people with a hammer, something a Craftman would definitively have ) and then became Janitor after the completion of the Ritual.

9:42 I don't know if this has been pointed out, but the face here (split line aside) looks similar to the Shibito in Forbidden Siren 1, with the blood trails, bulging eyes, and skin tone. Look at pictures of Eiji Nagoshi for an idea. A cool reference if it was intentional.

Since Miro has released the soul chart we know more or less which souls align with what dates. Since your birthday is may 6th, you'll have the Gladiatorial Soul, like me, since my birthday is on May 8th.

It's not that I am opposed to that, theres just not a lot to go on for vinushka. We have the unedited version of his skin bible and thats really it. Other than the normal skin bible and his symbol, theres not a lot that could be said about him, it'd be like a 3 minute video. However if more lore is added in the coming update I will definitely do one.

I have a theory of the ascended gods, it is said that Alll-mer's father was a false god (a new god) who went to Ma'bre and went with his 12 apostles mourned his death and 11 received him, the point is. Why Alll-mer when ascending had to eliminate his darkness? I would explain this by saying that Alll-mer understood what it implies to become a new god, your good and bad points also, as he wanted to bring the old world order and be like a savior, it would have logic that only your good parts ascend and the bad stays in the darkness, that would explain why he decided to bury his bad parts and in theory, not to be like the new gods that do not serve, of course he would not know that he would become the first ascended god. This does not happen with the god of fear and hunger because she ascended with the good and the bad, as each one has the good and the bad but as Alll-mer separated it. The god of sulfur ascended and exists apart from him, that would be parts of himself that he considered bad and buried them. This is a big mistake, of the old gods would not do evil directly to humanity as the sulfur, it could be said that one thing in common with the ascended gods is to have a father or mother who is a new god, and the way to ascend is different because as far as I remember we do not know how Alll-mer ascended, the girl went to the deepest darkness and ascended, and I do not know if Alll-mer did it with the golden throne because the girl can go to the void and nothing happens.
