Some of this list reminds me of my dad. When I was young for awhile we lived in a tent in S.E. Texas. Summer was hot, very hot. We kids would complain, dad would say, "Think cold.". During record setting cold in the winter we kids would complain. Dad would say, " Think hot" If it were just that simple. Sometimes no matter how hard we try life just isn't unicorns farting rainbows.

Maybe not, but when your perspective is among the only things in life that are actually within your control, why not choose a more helpful and resilient one. There is always a silver lining to a dark cloud, it’s just a matter of finding it. If you can’t find it, create it ☝️ your Dad was a wise man 🙌

Learn to deal with resentment! One of the most important things I learned in Alcoholics Anonymous was dealing with and letting go of resentments. It is one of the leading causes of relapse and even if you don't drink, it can screw up your life. And when you think about it, it doesn't make sense. You can have a resentment against somebody that really eats you up while they don't even know about it. You're pissed at them, and you're the one suffering, not them.

26: Eat hot and spicy things. To some me adding Red/Cayenne Pepper to PB sandwiches may be gross, but it's good. Or even having a Helldog (jalapeno & cheese dog split down the center w/more jalapenos, peco, Krowt, Habanero & Ghost Pepper Sauce [or 6-8 pax of hot sauce], gourmet ranch. Sauce: Sracha, Habanero & Ghost Pepper Sauce [or 6-8 pax of hot sauce], Spicey mustard or 2 pax of Grey Poupon. Pour Sauce mix atop dog, add crunchy onion bits and Yum. I find when I do this the Sick & Ick stays clear (granted I may not have any internal organs, but hey have to make sacrifices somewhere lol

S.M.A.R.T goals. I want to save more money, isn't really a goal, for several reasons. For a goal to be an actual goal, it needs to be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. So I want to save 1300 dollars in over the next month so I can pay off my credit card debt would be a smart goal.

One thing that gets me going is instead of drinking coffee, use hatred as a form of energy. If I want an extra boost, I mentally hate on something. I be sure to be hyper judgmental at everyone and everything to continue this hatred in my head. I can kinda see why people join the Sith. It’s a pretty good rush. Especially if you mix in some meth.

Anger and stress actually physically damage your body, and brain. Coffee may be better
@user-zh5lj1ec4k5 ай бұрын
@@xwannabeetinkerbellx not if you can hone it with mastery. Who says hate needs to come with stress. The anger can be released as a form of energy whenever needed. Harness the energy.

@@user-zh5lj1ec4k anger is a secondary emotion, the true one is pain, and hurt. Lol learned it in anger management

@@xwannabeetinkerbellx lol. Loser needed anger management. You can use emotion into literal physical energy. Don’t trust therapy cause they only use tried and proven methods of basic ass people. People are dynamic and different things work differently. You can use it transfer into your flight or fight mechanism. It doesn’t guide my everyday life or behaviors towards others, it’s just a good mental trigger to psych me up during a workout or brainstorming session. I can literally feel the circulation flow to my body. Learn to use hate to your advantage.

Listen to others, you may not agree, but you might learn something Most inventions were built on failures Reduce or eliminate social media, too much stress wondering if what you're reading is going to affect you negatively, i don't have a smartphone so i'm not at everyone's beck and call, or a slave to it. That was a DAMN GOOD list guys. I'm actually going to write it down and hang it on my fridge so that I, myself, and others around me can review it daily. A lot of these are simple, common sense things that I think most of us overlook because we are too busy living our chaotic lives. A lot of people are so concerned with "now now now"..."gotta have it all right now and real fast". I think some take, "live in the moment" to extremes. Yes, " live in the moment " but if you hope to extend those moments then self preservation is where it's at.😊 Oh and BTW Mike, love the attire!! You remind me of Josh Gates in that hat 🤠

Mike, I agree w/ your Japanese diet advice, butttt...I can't afford salmon & I can't chew/eat flax seed or walnuts. I have no teeth. I faceplanted on a landscape boulder 11 y/ago. It caused microshattering, too micro to see! They began splintering off until I had them removed. I'd LOVE to eat "real food" again! Heck, I'd love to be able to BUY real food!! Vit Green! I like that! I'm a big Nature Girl, have been all my life! But now I'm disabled & can't do anything. I miss the old me! All I can do is sit on the porch, read, & let my Merlin app ID the birds around me! OBTW, back track a bit...Laughter is the best medicine! See Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.
