Good job Dave!!! A tractor is so important for your property. Just look at all the progress Theo has made on the off grid property over the last few weeks with his new equipment compared to his old tractor. Not saying run out and get new stuff like they did just that the more equipment you have the better things will be to get the jobs done. For you guys it will all start with what attachments you can get for your tractor moving forward. Again Great job!!!

Yeah for sure. 2 weeks strumming turns into a morning brush cutting and then leaves much more time for other jobs so I get you. Id love a nice new tractor but unfortunately it's not on the cards for us at the moment so the options were fix this one and learn some mechanics or strim every day hahahha but a brush cutter will be super useful 😁🙌

I tried that as I was told quick start can be damaging but if you think it's okay I may grab a bit of it. 🤗🤗🤗 Learning on the job is the best way it's a quick and steep learning curve hahah

@escapetothequinta some tractors live on the stuff you only needed the slitest mist Did you open the injectors with a spanner turn the engine over till the diesel comes then tighten the injecter keep hand away from any moving parts such as pto and fan always think safety what can happen your doing good keep the battery topped up

Awesome job, loved this episode. Just a quick question, was that pure water you put in the cooling system? Not sure how cold it gets in Portugal, but you wouldn't want it to freeze hard in winter and crack your block etc.... but again, kudos for getting the old girl going again.

Well I put antifreeze and water in and I had a leak so just used water for now and when I solve the leak I'll put some antifreeze in I was hoping the heat from engine would almost form it back together but no joy so need to find some hose that fits and make good. It doesn't really get to freezing here maybe like 4 degrees but I will use antifreeze just incase keep everything nice 🙂🙂🙂
