@@tonycrabtree3416 Yes, they gave up 345 yards but remember that 53-yard run by Kevorian Barnes to the 3-yard line, and that big Oscar Cardenas catch to the Troy 43-yard line? UTSA didn't score a damn point after those big plays in the 4th quarter, and you can thank Troy's defense for that. They made the adjustments on defense when it really mattered. I call that bringing the wood when it REALLY mattered.

But Troy's defense only allowed 12 points to a team (UTSA) that averaged 36.8 per game in 2022 ain't nothing to sneeze at. Albeit the fact that UTSA left 6 to 14 points on the table in the 4th quarter though. This game kind of made me mad, mad at UTSA's offense that is. Them receivers in the clutch and QB Frank Harris,

Damn, UTSA had two HUGE plays that could have set them up for scores and they just squandered them. That Kevorian Barnes 53-yard run at 9:59 and that Oscar Cardenas 26-yard catch at 10:42. That's at least 14 points (two TD's) or two field goals that they left on the table 🙄😡.

UTSA should have won this game 19-18 or 26-18. Man, they left so many points on the table in the fourth quarter. How TF 🤬can you not score after a 53-yard run to the 3-yard line? But give Troy's defense and their defensive coordinator (Shiel Wood) credit, they made the adjustments to keep UTSA out of the end zone in the 4th quarter as to help them (Troy) win this game.

Not sure about that, mistakes were made for sure and we made some as well. Overall though you can see why Troy is top 10 scoring defense in the nation. UTSA just could make a play all game other than when defense made a mistake which rarely happened. Held them to below 30 points so I will take it.

The NIL and transfer thing has f’ed up college football. I’m a Bama fan and Saban said it was gonna kill being a “ team” attitude and hurt some feelings on not being as good as you thought but it was voted in anyway. He was correct. This game is was excellent and definitely the NDSU vs IWU game was very enjoyable. Let’s go Brandon!!! I can’t wait for the female kicker from Vandy to Make A Team on Skill….
