You forget to mention, Philippines other than the Filipino language, English is also its official language. Many foreign vloggers and expats always mention how easy it is to travel and live in the Philippines because majority of Filipinos understand and speak English.

You need to also talk about the income requirements for retirement to these countries. For example, what good is thinking about reitiring to a low cost of living country that also requires you have a bank acount with $400,000 or a monthly pension income of $4000?

Ukraine is a beautiful country. Beautiful nature and good climate, rich history and culture, interesting history, delicious cuisine, friendly people. Therefore, neighboring Russia again wants to capture and enslave Ukrainians, but they are resisting. And now it is really dangerous there, especially for children and old people. However, there are still many foreigners in Ukraine who are not afraid and are interested in being in the hot spot of the planet. After Ukraine wins this war, it will actually be a very good place to live.

It depends on what part of a country you move to. I moved to Southern Italy and live well on $1200.00 per month. However, if I wanted to live in northern Italy or a large city, I would need a lot more money.

What a rather strange list. Just think of the Language aspect of many of these countries and the extreme cultural differences as well. I can just imagine a whole lot of Aussies going to some of these countries and finding out that although Australia is very expensive, there are good reasons for this. BUT, it is time for people in the West to think about the world possibilities and go to the world rather than the world going to the more expensive Western Countries.

Visa requirements are ignored here and not differentiated between retired expats and digital nomads needing to work make money and perhaps even pay taxes ! -- Language barriers are also largely ignored and can affect the quality of life dramatically. Several of these countries are more suited for tourism but not living long term due to unfriendly visa laws ! Much additional research is needed from what I can see here. -- A terribly incomplete video.

This video is really informative! It's fascinating to see which countries are considered the cheapest to live in for 2024. I’m curious-how do they define 'cheap'? Is it based on overall living expenses, housing, or even healthcare costs? Also, I’d love to know if any of these countries have specific areas or cities that are more affordable than others. What do you all think? Have any of you lived in or visited these places? Let’s discuss!

Poor people in the Philippines can live for only 💯 dollars or less monthly 🎉
@sandorgruber289811 ай бұрын
Yes, maybe locals only... If someone would like to live around western standards, the monthly cost around 700 USD minimum. Philippines not a cheap country at all. There are some cheap things ( Jeepney ride around 15 PHP, local food in local places around 80 PHP, but the size of portion is so small). A normal accomodation ( not shared) around 10.000PHP / month. If you go to a mall to eat a normal restaurant, the price will be 400-600 PHP
@antigraftandcorruption584911 ай бұрын
@@sandorgruber2898 Going to Mall and to eat at any restaurant once in a month or even weekly is good enough. But if you cook your own food at home you can save a lot of money
@sandorgruber289811 ай бұрын
Bro, I am in Davao city, so I am know exactley the prices. The restaurant prices, the shop prices and the marketplaces prices too. If you go to shop, the meal ingredients around 30% more expensive, than in Malayisa... @@antigraftandcorruption5849
@sandorgruber289811 ай бұрын
But ok, just count. If you eat in mall weekly, the prices around 2000 PHP (only 4 meal) You should eat minimum 60 times /month, if you eat only twice. That 4 meals was only 36 USD. You have to eat more 56 times, and pay your accomodation. So, forget the 100 USD, even the 500 USD impossible. In Chiang Mai, I could live about half price than in Philippines. @@antigraftandcorruption5849

Despite the very nice English, I need to say: It's always the same, nearly. Latin America, Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe, plus perhaps some Arab nations where hardly anyone from the "West" would like to live. You should revise your titles unless you've visited all the regions of the world during preparation of the videos, "25 really cheap countries ..." or so. If you had done so, in a list of 25, Madagascar and Tanzania would be present.
