25 Year Old Citizen Watch Restored With Polishing Cleaning And Capacitor

I found my 25 year old Citizen Eco Drive watch tucked away and the capacitor was dead. It had seen many days of hard use in it's life so I wanted to give it a bit of restoration starting with a full cleaning and polish job as best as I could by hand with Cape Cod polishing cloths. I changed the capacitor, greased the gasket and it came out great! So, if I buy an eco drive today, there's a good chance I'll find a replacement capacitor for it in 20-30 years? Or is it safer to get a normal quartz?

Surprised to see you using steel tweezers to remove the Battery? unless your way of thinking is the battery is flat anyway? Nice Video though .I have a citizen eco drive model E210 and when changing out the battery a few years ago and this battery cover is retained with a screw and off course ( with no real force ) the screw head came off and have not even attempted to try and remove screw ,will have to have a go as its one of my favorite watches .Any tips if this is possible ?

Thats a perpetual calendar you need to set it correctly for leap year when you are in time pull out the crown then set the month and then the day and the leap year adjust you have to see the instructions i forgot the setting procedure for this model I got one like this its a real good watch

Hi I have a Eco Drive repeater G900. It seems to not hold its charge. Citizen refused to repair/service it because the hands (yes HANDS) are no longer in stock.
