For the bottom of the ski. In high school I worked at a marina called Cuba landing. We used Hulloff diluted. It gets all that' grimey stuff off the bottom. Works great on pontoons that's been sitting in the water for 10+ years lol

Hell yeah! I a fully restored 93 yamaha waveblaster. I bought just the hull and put new everything on it. She is the most fun I have ever had on a couch lol. Consider yourself lucky living that close to the lake.. lake to me is a 30 min drive.

For water stains use hull and bottom cleaner. Super strong and a acid. You don't even need to scrub, just apply with a brush and it melts the water stains away

That’s what I call a zero to hero build. It’s old, but the cosmetics of it are fantastic, especially once you get that chin guard on there. The gas gauge, I’d like to have one, but I guess you’ll just have to stop every so often and look under sink at tank to get an idea.

Tip for you and it’s a lot easier than using Muriatic acid,.......Goo Gone “Gel” Rust remover. Just spray it on and walk away. Wash hull off with soap and water. Seal hull with a wax so it doesn’t do that again.

@milk_chemistry4 жыл бұрын
you can take the wrap to some paint places and they will have have a camera/gun that scans the colors and gets the same color code but its usually the big paint stores soooo look around (also put a foam pad on your orbital sander when your not doing flat surfaces)

If anyone needs to paint anything black with a textured finish such as the jet assembly or VTS nozzle try Rustoleum textured bed liner paint. It looks great , hides imperfections on surface, and sticks really well (doesn't flake, chip,fade) just make sure surface is clean and prepped the best you can. It comes in a few color variations but black works really well.
@tylerhite92872 жыл бұрын
I definitely would hit it with compound and a wool wheel or pad. Would bring back the gloss and doing it on the hull should even remove a lot of the yellowing.

One thing is I put a lot of Motocross seat covers on. The sun and heat has nothing to do with that cover straightening out, you have ripples in it and the ripples will stay. You have to get them out by stretching it in the beginning.

Awesome jet ski!! One of the best channels on KZbin. The only thing I would recommed you to work on is on your garage set up and organization. I Know every artist has a personal way of having his tools etc and that usually for them there is an order in that disorder but the Way I ser it is that there is probably a lot of subscribers that Don't have the space you have and dream about one Day having one and doing projects like you do. Having a garage/mancave is a dream for almost everyone. I think it would make great content for you to transform and organize your space in you characterisic artistic way that everyone likes.
