One of the most celebrated cop thrillers is #sarfarosh starring #aamirkhan #naseeruddinshah #mukeshrishi in lead roles! This iconic #bollywood movie is one of the few tales from the 90s that has aged brilliantly and sheds light on socio political topics that still consume our news channels and politics. I hope you like the Sarfarosh Movie Review | Aamir Khan | Naseeruddin Shah | Sonali Bendre | Classic Bollywood Movie

Aamir was on par with Naseeruddin shah in the climax scene. His intensity and dialogue delivery was on point thought out the climax. Even in 90’s, this guy has given some great performances like Sarfarosh, Ghulaam and Rangeela. Sadly, he didn’t win Filmfare for any of these performances.

Filmfare is bogus anyways now but the sad thing is even I don't think I would have chosen Aamir for Sarfarosh in the year that Sanjay Dutt won for Vaastav. The snub for Ghulam was so apparent and sad to see, but then again, I think Raja Hindustani is an overhyped movie where Aamir won (imo slightly undeservingly) Rangeela vs DDLJ at the Filmfare was such a hard battle. I think both movies are iconic in their own right in all departments. I still feel Urmila deserved it more than Kajol but I also feel Amrish Puri and Jatin-Lalit deserved it more than Jackie Shroff and AR Rahman. I'm torn between SRK and Aamir. Both Munna and Raj have such different but such infectious charm to them. I think actors like Aamir, Salman, Ajay understood the bias of Filmfare way before it got apparent but also way before it actually became unfair and worse. Back then, some of the winners were hard to call imo.

@deveshkumar7844
@deveshkumar7844 Ай бұрын
@@i.escorpiius3570 Reason is quite clear, those days Filmfare mostly used to given actors from most popular movies in that specific year. In 1995, Srk won for DDLJ over Rangeela as DDLJ obviously was way more popular than any other film. Same happened in 1998 as well, Srk again won it for KKHH as it was more hyped and popular as compared to Ghulaam which was made on a moderate budget. Otherwise if only performances were only criterion, he could have been won I genuinely feel, Aamir could have been given it for Jo jeeta wahi Sikander in 1992 instead of Anil Kapoor for Beta, same he could have won for Ghajini over Hrithik’s Jodha Akbar and for 3 idiots over Amitabh Bachchan for paa in 2009.

One wonder how well informed and creative Aamir Khan was all at the age of may be 33-34. In the pre internet era of 1995-2000, to come up with movies as diverse as Rangeela, Ghulam, 1947 the Earth,Sarfarosh and mixing it well with the likes of Raja Hindustani, Ishq, Mela, Mann at the same time...the only Man who was doing the balancing act pretty well...when his peers were only starring in movies of the same genre by same set of makers....the kuch kuch, dil dil, pyar pyar, khiladi wiladi, no.1 no.1 types. Post 2000 Aamir is a different league..Lagaan came and things changed for better for ever. I know its just a matter of time...the air will change, the government hopefully ☺️. Aamir will be back, right where he deserves to be.

Thank you so soo much for this video .. I want to share one thing here, people around me think that he doesn't like India coz he is Muslim and years back Kiran n Amir gave a statement that " it feels like India is not a safe place to live now" which was true at that point of time crime against women and mob lynching were in huge numbers. But with this video people will get to know that he is a very wise person and it's all a perspective made by media ❤️

2 of the best cop action movies bollywood ever had were Sarfarosh and Khakee... I loved sarfarosh because the protagonist was not your conventional Supercop but a very diligent and honest cop And khakee because it showed us the types of police and the problems they face... It showed us the honesty and dishonesty existing in the Police force Other than that, some cop movies have great entertainment value like - RSCU, Force, Rowdy Rathore and dabbang 1

Sarfarosh is one of the all time favorite movies of our family. We have watched it several times...all the dialogues are amazing...my daughter wrote a skit/monologue for her 10th class theatre exam using references from this movie...the dialogues between Amir Khan and Nasaruddin shah toward end, just before Nasaruddin shah's character kills himself were mindblowing

I am so happy you have made this video. I am a pirate of sorts, if you get what I mean. But I bought the original VCR of this and got it converted to pay homage to this beauty. I am telling you none of the blockbusters can touch this. The way Ajay is never shown as the big cop but, a "baccha" and his actual ways of working in the force is something I think no one can replicate. Salim is the voice of all the minorities. The songs and the cinematography. I always watch it. Probably have watched it 500 times. And still adore it. Thanks for making this. Now people will watch this again. And rediscover the best.

So many observations came to me when I saw them celebrating Sarfarosh. It is a great film. Unlike the other overworked PR machineries, such films are not talked about but for me these were the real 'masala' films that delivered. Songs, Drama, Action, Love, Humour and above all Dialogues !! I think another one of the cop films that unfortunately did not perform that great but has a super storyline is Khakee with Akshay, Amitabh etc. PS. Long time follower of this channel but commenting for first time. I connect with your perspective so I have fun following here. Keep going!

So much so that my family members use the dialogues of this movie in our conversations quite frequently. Whenever we are fasting we use the dialogue, "Mai idhar akha din baithne ko nahi aaya, upwas hai Aaj Mera". Whenever I am calling my brother,"Kya thakur tereko kitni baar bola tu aata nahi? Chal uth chal chal uth" I even used the shayari used hy Aamir here on sonali while talking to a girl. I can go on and on. I guess you get the idea 😂

The movie was and always will remain in gem in Bollywood history but the way you have analysed it and connected to today's problems with society and Bollywood is masterful and deep. What a movie, what a review.....

25 friggin years have gone by and this movie is still better than anything else Bollywood produces these days. The story, the screenplay, the dialogue, acting, music, everything was just spot on. Taking such a sensitive topic and making a blockbuster out of it.. love him or hate him, but you can't deny the bold and courageous movies Aamir Khan has in his portfolio. This movie is a masterpiece, one of the few films which makes me feel proud of Bollywood

It's not like everyone thinks every Muslim is anti-national. But most have 'been made to think' that a Muslim HAS to keep giving proof of being patriotic. And even if he does, he is not considered a patriot until it aligns with the ruling party's definition of a patriot which is simply "A BJPian".
