Kank wasn’t a bad movie but it wasn’t well told. No one understood the motivations of the characters, since AB jr and Preity were “good” spouses. I’m still not sure why they were let go of 😅

I think he tried showing SRK and Rani's characters getting irritated with their own spouses and putting in a lot of effort. On the other hand, they were attracted to each other in an unusual, effortless manner. So, eventually, the story proceeds the way it is. The problem technically wasn't with their better halves but also coz they themselves werent onboard in that marriage. Its a bit woke for that time, but who knows the secret of marriages anyway 😂

I'm sure Karan and many others tried to bring back SRKajol countless times, insta blockbuster with no further effort needed, and my guess is that the two are actively trying to avoid that because they want to be recognized for their work and not just as the legendary jodi. One interesting movie would be a KKHH 2. Imagine that: Rahul and Anjali have been married for 25+ years now, and are facing the everyday challenges, experiences and turning points of any middle aged couple. They became grandparents from Anjali junior. They are raising a young son of their own, trying to educate him into a positive masculine role in today's cultural debate and changes. Butterflies in their stomachs flew away long ago and their love is a long run daily commitment they rekindle every single day like every long lasting happy couple does, or they might even have issues because making that KKHH kind of love real-life-proof is hard work. Would the audience be ready for such a big shift of perspective?

I have always been a fan of Dharma Productions' movies. They make the most amazing movies. You know, I have... I have loved their movies, be it Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani, and K3G, and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, and Kapoor's Sons,or the recent RRKPK I have been their fan, and it's amazing. But the only movie that I didn’t like of Dhamma Productions was Gehraiyaan. That movie was very depressing according to me. I remember it watching it with my cousins. We were at our nani's house and we thought of watching a movie. We thought like we will enjoy it or stuff. But I remember it before watching the movie we were like so happy and so energetic and stuff. But after watching that we were like what's wrong? We were so depressed that we were so done. We just wanted to sleep. Ya man, that's so depressing.
