South Korean who regularly watch your content. I have to pause once in a while when you talk in miles just to calculate your pace/mileage to Kms. Really appreciate your effort to use Km for once. Would hope it gets to happen more regularly.

They released the murder pack for a $35 CDN premium. Come on, Nike. Why charge that much more for a different colorway? Great video as always, Yowana. Keep laying it down. Appreciate the work you put in on the channel. Cheers from Western Canada, the land of kilometres 😂

TBH the only issue I have with Nike is that so many of their shoes are a 10mm drop, and as a forefoot striker it feels as if there's way too much ground feel. I wish they'd throw in some 6mm drop shoes.

I have lived in the Portland area since the 70's, used to drive past the Nike campus every day on the way to work. Never owned a pair of Nike's:) I'm not a runner, just a walker with bad feet. New Balance was the brand I wore back then:) But the Nike campus is truly amazing!

Pizza comes from Italy and Hamburger from Hamburg. But you cannot argue with arrogant and ignorant americans, they also believe they invented german cars because they now have a factory overseas (meaning on the american continent). It is sooo embarassing to be an american, thats why nobody wants to be an american or live there, lol.

@supwell we impose our will on other countries. We enable corporations to not just exploit U.S. citizens but workers around the world. We are in the beginning stages of a modern Fugitive Slave Act. I'm a service member, but my parents are refugees. The top advisor to Trump wants to revoke citizenship for people like me. I've been deployed. We aren't defending freedom. This doesn't even touch Gaza or the lack of universal health care. We barely have safety nets. The U.S. has never been a meritocracy and the billionaires that run the country want you to think that it is. We've all been brainwashed.

@@supwellthat is a question only an american can ask. You americans have no idea about the rest of the world and everything you let out of your mouth is just embarassing. All this patriotism... And everything you point out what is great about america... Is a standard in most of the world since so long ago, that we don't even think about it. Bonus points of you know that there are more countries in the world that are more free than america than there are which are less free. Also, there are so many things screwed up in the US, no one from europe would want to go to live there. + Things like quality... F.e. Power lines hanging in the air? Are you kidding me? Everything there looks like the standard of 1960 or something. Yet, americans ask if there are cars, fridges, etc in the rest of the world. It is so hilariously stupid 🙈 America is the biggest warmonger on the planet. They use force (the military) to invade other countries, steal and pressure them for control of natural ressources. That is what the military is for. Establish economic power. Guys in the military are just thr tools for doing that. No need to thank for service, it is a job. Or does your boss or the whole country thank you for your service? No? Thought so. I mean, i know where some of this american bs is coming from, but please don't put that bs into running videos. It is just embarassing. Thank You :)

Anyway, back to the shoes. The training shoe vs race shoe mindset is different for me for sure. For training, I want something that works and will eat the miles without breaking the bank. For a race, I want to maximize my best (granted I haven’t actually gone to carbon county myself, but I get it for those who do).

Hey Yowana, you know me and I’m part of your international hobby jogger community, which is growing on the channel. Gotta give some feedback today though, the political part was skewed with biased generalizations that are not accurate (there are lots of many free countries, I’m in Colombia for example. Europeans hating America… If it were not for America this and that…etc). We like to put in the work, and will keep it so. Just don’t yield to “impulses” like what happened at the start of the Ultra Marathon. BTW great idea on crowdsourcing stays for marathons internationally, with the Sydney idea. You’re cordially invited to stay over in Bogota if you’d love to try the “Bogota Altitude Marathon” in Nov 2025, we run at 8.333 feet / 2.600 meters - it’s the highest major capital city marathon out there. Bang!

The harshness of the alphafly makes it a great 10k or less racing shoes..I don't like running in them at all,but they are very fast..I have found all the shoes with a higher plate position are too hard on my feet to use for long distances..I am looking forward to some of the new foams..I think the next generation shoes mite be able to lower the stack and still have the cushioning for long running..Nike does still have the best racing uppers..

He goes on a whole rant about how America is great because you can make it even from humble beginnings with no clue that there are tons of studies out there covering social mobility and the US is at best midpack, while the top spots are all of the socialist European countries that "hate freedom". I'm a 2+ hour half marathoner, which I've been trying to do about once a week and I don't necessarily want the most aggressive shoe. I want something that let's me pick it up if I want to but also has my back if my form breaks down. For me, that's the Superblast. You can rant about politics if you want. I'm sure my opinions are a little different. "It's a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. . . it's called the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it.” For the full NSFW George Carlin rant (3:12): kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKSvZ6CBrdmCorMsi=PTES_y8aL2N-UHg2

Europeans huh? 😂😂😂😂 You can’t help the people man 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I‘m grown up in the metric system and still using kilometers and so on but I already have a feeling for the imperial system like 3,2 k are like two miles, 1 kg is 2,2 pounds and 3 feet are roughly speaking one meter 💪💪💪 So in my opinion the people should get more familiar with the opposite system 🙏🙏🙏 But of course it‘s way easier to say to you that you have to use the metric system instead of instead of getting familiar with the opposite system 💪 Right now I‘m coming to the section where you talk about the relationship between Europeans and Americans and in my opinion I love the general explorer spirit of the Americans 😃🔥🙌
