We are living in the US now for more than 30 years and for some reason we have not yet found a fruit that tastes good as in Sri Lanka . We got a Papaya yesterday and we just spoke about it. Even the meat doesn't taste good as in Sri Lanka. It is a beautiful paradise ruined by the corrupt politicians. If only we had proper leadership the country would be heavenly. Enjoy your stay.

I like your way of switching scenes, very interesting. That room is very simple and elegant, and the advantage is that the lighting is great. The scenery outside the window is priceless, as if reading a postcard. Dinner is very exotic, like in a French restaurant! That is why SL ha more tourists from several European and Asia..American tourists are very less actually...we would like to welcom American tourists also...if u go to southern tip of Sri Lanka u can see ppl speaking European language and menus written in Russian...because it has all types of tourists there.....that's why we were named no.1 tourist destination in the world

Btw bro. A little info on "Machan". Yes it inflict brotherhood and friendship. But in Sri Lanka we don't commonly use the word at present . It has more of become a slang term more than a friendly household word. No offence in using it, but its a bit odd for many because it ain't use commonly to talk with people. That's the reason why some people laugh when you call them "Machan". Just thought of telling ❤️

JFYI : shukhriya is an Indian word. We Sri Lankans say "Sthuthiy" Most Sri Lankans doesnt even know what Shukhriya means. Eventhough India is close to Sri Lanka. We have our own cultural and language differences. Sri Lanka is nothing like India but India is a nice and beautiful country too..

There are so many Coconut based food and sea food in Sri Lanka, also there is unique version of Orange Coconut which called King coconut which is use as a beverage. You should have tried Watalappan, it's one of my personal favourite deserts.
